New blogger...
So I just switched my old blog to the new google powered blog. Haven't had any real time to check out what's different...all I want to do is just blog...so hopefully it works.

So who's been having daydreams about what they're gonna do when they hit the big Mega Millions jackpot? I know I have been...I start thinking of what I would buy and what I would do and I get myself pretty excited..then I check my numbers and I don't have a single matching number. Blah!!! But there's always Friday....come on! come on!

You know what I think is pretty funny? People at the gym. Not really people at the gym, but people who are looking for parking at the gym. I mean, you see people waiting for people and following them to get their parking space that is close to the gym entrance. You see cars circling the parking lot of like 15 minutes just trying to get a close parking space...but all you really have to do to park is park maybe 50-100 yards out and there are tons of parking spaces. Does anyone see the irony in this? People wait to get parking that is close to the gym so they won't have to walk too far...but then they go into the gym and run 3-4 miles on the treadmill? It just makes no sense to me. Isn't the point of going to the gym to exercise...yet you want to waste time to look for close parking. Yeah....you're stupid.

Another stupid thing are people when they're driving and they realize that they're in the wrong lane and move over one...but they aren't completely in the other lane (which is most usually a turn lane) and so the sensor doesn't see them...yet there they are...waiting forever for the light to change and let them go. But it's not gonna change!!! You aren't on the sensors!!! Straighten up your car and then it'll see you!!! I swear...some people are stupid and have no idea how traffic signals work.

Heroes....WOW what a great show. Last episode on Monday was AWESOME. It was sad, but really good. Then you change the channel and watch the Oprah special about the school for girls in Africa...wow, that was sad too...i mean, i didn't watch Oprah...BLAH!

Ok, that's it...ttyl. Such is the life of Joe...

Hi...remember me? My name is Joe....
Sorry guys, it's been waaaaaay too long (that's what she said). But I'm back...we'll see how often I post now that I gave up browsing one of my favorite forums for Lent. So what have I been up to? Same old same old....nothing new to report at all.

So it's Lent now. What did I give up? Well, I gave up shopping for myself, looking at that one forum, and soda. Yeah, stupid things, huh? I don't it'll be too hard (that's what she said). But I really couldn't think of anything else.

So Ash Wednesday was yesterday. I met up Joes and Karen and St. John Neuman....how come there's always SOOOOOOOOOOO many people at Ash Wednesday Mass? It seemed like it was Christmas or Easter...that's how many people there were. Why did you decide to come out to Mass today...Ash Wednesday isn't even a holy day of obligation. But if you heard the gospel on Ash Wednesday (which is the same one every year) then you'll realize why all these people came to Mass. It's so they can get ashes on their head and hold their head up high and walk around so that other people who see them on the street or work or something will think..."ohhh...he got ashes...he must be a good Catholic"...when in fact this is only the first mass out of three that he's gonna go to this year (the other two being Easter and Christmas).

Don't get me wrong...I'm not the most pious and most devout person out there. But it's pretty obvious when a lot of people leave RIGHT AFTER getting ashes, which is in the middle of mass. That's not the most important thing in Mass...it's the Eucharist! You see people leaving after getting their ashes and looking in their compact mirror to see if their ashes are nice and presentable for the world to see. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Blah!

Oh yeah....so after mass it's a traffic jam in the parking lot. There was this one girl in the parking lot who was completely road raging! It was pissing me off so much. She was right in front of me and you know how normally a nice and civil person would take turns and alternate and let people in. Not this biznatch...she was completely on the bumper of the car in front of her so this one car couldn't get in front of her. I swear there was an inch of space between her and the car in front of her. Dude...chill out and let the person in. Why are you being a bitch in the church parking lot after mass? Are you in that much of a hurry that you need the 10 seconds you save by not letting the person in front you? I was just waiting and kinda hoping that she rear ended the car in front of her just to teach her a lesson.

Heroes is good. Lost is blah. Desmond went back to the past and that's why he can see the future? I don't get it. If he went back to the past then the stuff that he predicted (claire drowning, the lightning, Locke's speach) hadn't happened in his original timeline and so how would he know it was coming (that's what she said). You know? So he turned the key, went back to his past (which explains how he could predict things in his past because he already had been through it). Then got knocked out in his past and when back to the island's present (wandering naked in the jungle discovered by Hurley). So he should be in his present....but how does he know all the things that are gonna happen? He hasn't experienced them yet, right??? Someone please explain....

Ok, so that's it. The weekend is almost here. Can't wait. I don't know what I'm gonna do, but at least it'll be better than the work week. Ok, talk to you all later....hopefully this will be the first of more routine posts. Such is the life of Joe...
