I'm tired...
A great but tiring weekend. We drove so much this weekend. On Friday Cat had a full tank of gas...we had to refill her car on Sunday. Yeah, that's how much driving we did.

Friday we went out to Arcadia to Shakey's for lil Jay's birthday celebration. It was actually my first time eating at Shakey's ever...and it's pretty good. It was good seeing some people I haven't in a long time...especially Chris and Iya. We talked and tried to think when the last time we saw each other was...it was for Chris' bday at the Beach in August. WOW! 5 months...that's a freaking long time. We then headed over to D&B's there and that place is kinda crazy. It's like in a mall and it has a rooftop bar (too bad it was cold and the heaters were broken). We just chilled, played some games, tried to get Jay drunk so he could rip his shirt off again. Yeah...good times.

Saturday was my Tita's Santo Nino fiesta. Before that Cat, James, Ana, Shawn, and I went out to eat brunch at Plums. Mmmmmmm...delicious. We then headed off to Tita's where we just set up the Wii and the cousins had a great time playing in the back room. Good times. We ate so much food too. Cat and I had to leave early though because of Danielle's bday dinner in Pasadena. So we missed out on the ballroom dancing and the gay guy dancing by him self to Justin Timberlake. I hope my brother or cousin got video of that...they said it was hilarious.

Cat and I headed to Pasadena to meet up Danielle and a few friends at this Japanese place where you cook your own food. It was so good and we had SOOOOOOOOO much food. YES! Too bad I just ate 3 hours prior. BOOO!! yeah, I was so stuffed by the end of it. It was delicious though. We headed out to Menage in Pasadena and just hung out there for a while before saying our goodbyes and heading back home.

Yeah, so I just found out a couple of my friends are getting married on the same day. 9/8/07. Well, I don't even know if I'm invited to either...but just assuming I am...DAMMIT!!! Yeah, now decisions decisions...which one of them will give me more incentives to attend their wedding? Hee hee...j/k. Yeah, but decisions decisions. I know the one up in San Jose is more towards the afternoon....so hopefully the other one is in the morning and I can attend both? Yeah...wishful thinking.

For all you that have Wii's. Text, email, IM, or send me your Wii number so I can add you to my address book and we can share Mii's. It's fun! Come on! Am I a nerd because I carry around my Wii number in my cell phone so I can give it to all my friends when they ask for it? Ok...yeah it is...just a little.

Well, what a great weekend. Now I'm back to work. Booo... Well, at least it's only 6 more days until the SUperbowl. WOOOOOOO!!!! Go NinerS!!!! I mean...Chicago Colts! Or Indianapolis Bears! WOO HOO!!! Such is the life of Joe...

I Hate the Wii!!!
Yes, I hate the Wii...why? Because I can't find it anywhere and I've been looking for the past couple weeks and no one ever has it! It's so freaking frustrating!!!

Let's recap:
Dec. 03 - Got to Walmart at 7:45am thinking I could get a Wii at 8:00am, but there was a line of 15 people for only 6 Wii's, my bad.
Dec. 04 - Dec. 16 just check sporadically at EB Games and other stores. Highlight is missing a Wii by 30 minutes at EB Games at the Spectrum "do you have any wii's?", "i did, about 30 minutes ago". DAMMIT!
Dec. 17 - Get to Target in the Marketplace at 5am for a Wii, there's a line of 50 people there. Drive to Best Buy (50 people line), Toys R Us (50 People), decide to drive to Target at the Spectrum (70+ people) and finally Target at Foothill Ranch (only 25 or so people so wait in line for an hour in the cold)...only 12 Wii's!!! DAMMIT!
Dec. 18 - Dec. 20 check sporadically at Target, EB Games, Best Buy during lunch.
Dec. 21 - Went to Toys R Us in Mission Viejo (MV) early in the morning in the rain, but they had none. Went to the Best Buy next door, they only had remotes...so I bought one (they're hard to find too). Went to Tustin Taret, EB Games, and waited in line at Toys R Us for like 30 minutes to wait for UPS to see IF they'd have any (UPS didn't have any that day, but I had already left).
Dec. 28 - During lunch I went to Toys r Us (MV), then the Best Buy. Target at Foothill Ranch, Target at Tustin, EB Games, in Tustin. none of them had any. I went back to work and read on a forum that keeps track of deliveries that the Foothill Ranch Target had them an hour after I had left there. DAMMIT!!!
Dec. 30 - Before heading off to Tahoe went and stopped at Wal-Mart in Tulare to see if they had any...nothing.
Jan. 1 - In Tahoe, checked the Big K-Mart to see if they had any. NOTHING!
Jan. 1 - Jan. 7 - Kinda give up looking.
Jan. 8 - My tricks on the web informed me that the Target in Aliso Viejo had them. I wasn't getting my expectations up, but I decided to check before going to work. SUCCESS!!! They had at least 5, but only 1 per customer. I asked the guy "can I get a wii and this other guy who was like 10 steps behind me said, YEAH ME TOO!" HOORAY!!!! I finally got the WII!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Just like Cat said....once I stop really looking for it, I'll find it...and I did. So we have the Wii, an extra remote and nunchuck, and Monkey Ball and Rayman. Goodtimes! I'm also age 24 in my fitness age! I went from 51->24 in one day! YES! Such is the life of Joe....
