Stinky Pants!
Happy Belated Birthday Ryan! YOu share the same birthday with my jeans....HAPPY BIRTHDAY SVEN! (yes, my jeans are named Sven). It's been 1 year since I first started wearing you and that's 1 year without any wash at all.

But I decided that I wanted to wash them after 1 year...and that was on Wednesday. Why? One, b/c I thought they had enough wear and tear on them and also because they were starting to stink. So off to the wash you go!

After 1st Wash

They shunk up 2 inches in the inseam (which is good b/c they were too long anyways), and they also shrank 2 inches in the waist (but that's alright, they'll stretch back out). I'm actually glad they shrunk a little since they were a little big for me.

Here's what they looked like before: (left image is day 1, right image is 10 months ~ day 300)

Pretty cool, huh? I think they turned out alright. If I wanted them to get lighter, I could've washed them in warm or hot water, but I wanted them to stay pretty dark, so I washed them in cold.

Yay! No more stinky pants....when's the next time I'm gonna wash them? I dunno, I'll play it by ear (or smell). Such is the life of Joe...

If you can hear me, clap once...
HA! Can you believe that I went to a Kaba meeting last Thursday? HA HA HA! No, I didn't just randomly decide "hey, I feel like going to a Kaba meeting". It was because Pat was gonna be there to talk about his part in the "Bebot" video (the song by the Black Eyed Peas). He drew the storyboards and along with the director and videographer they discussed the video. They actually showed a "Making of Bebot" and it was crazy seeing Pat up on the screen. COOL!

It was a good night because I got to hang out with Joe, Riann, Fantone, Gwen, Pat, and Kay...all of whom I haven't kicked it with in a long long time. We went to eat at IHOP afterwards and I swear, my cheeks hurt so much from all the laughing that was going on...especially during Joe and Riann's stories. HA HA HA! Good seeing you guys. Thanks for a great night.

So Friday, Cat and I headed to the Hollywood Bowl to watch.......Journey and Def Leppard! HA HA HA! I know, who would want to see them, right? I would! It was a good concert and a really nice venue (first time I've been to the Hollywood Bowl). Even though it took us 2 hour to get there and it was pouring rain right before the show we enjoyed it. Danny and Danielle were with us too, but among us four, I think I had the most fun since I knew most of the Def Leppard songs and they only knew 1. Good times...thanks for a great time!

So Heroes....AWESOME SHOW! The BEST SHOW ON TV! Seriously, I think it's better than LOST. I'm kinda bleh on LOST now. I mean...same thing...it shows us nothing and we just ask more questions. Blah blah blah. Heroes is just freaking awesome...especially last night's episode!

Battlestar Galactica is awesome too...Friday's episdoe was great and I was so mad when it ended....I guess I'll have to wait until next week to watch the huge battle.

How I met your Mother is hilarious...I like how they used "redunkulous". HA HA HA! Shows how many people watch "Laguna Beach". Plus Barney (Doogie Howswer) is hilarious on that show.

Ok, that's it for now. Gotta look for a Halloween costume. What should I be??? Maybe a Super Hiro? Hmmmmm.... Such is the life of Joe....

I Blogged!!!
It's been a while, huh? Yeah, I've been so freaking lazy to blog. What have I been up to? Nothing much, just the same old same old.

So this past weekend I went up to the Bay for Cat's Aunt's surprise 50th birthday. Actually, we got up there on Wednesday. We left the nice hot weather of Orange County and arrived at Oakland Airport to cold weather and rain! WHAT THE HECK! Wednesday was just spent chilling with Cat's other aunt and cousins and just watching LOST!

LOST....I waited all summer for this show...and you know what! Ehhhhh... It was alright. More questions, more questions, more questons...I would like them to at least give us some answers please.

Thursday, James gave us a ride to the BART station and we headed to SF to do some shopping. I haven't really explored SF except for the tourist traps of Fisherman's Wharf and some of North Beach. So we went downtown to Union Square! WOO HOO!!! We literally shopped until we dropped....8 hours of shopping walking everywhere in the rain. We went to all 3 H&M's in the 2 block radius, ate lunch at Cheesecake on top of Macy's, went to the new Bloommingdales in the San Francisco Center. I didn't buy anything for 7 hours...not until we hit up the big H&M and bought a few things. We then headed back to Alameda.

James and Ana picked us up and we went to dinner with Sherwin, Shawn, and Rita at Sushi House. Mmmmm...delisious. Thanks for the free Novartis stuff, Rita. James, Ana, Cat, and I went back to Cat's Aunt's house where James and Ana met Cat's parentals.

Friday was spent doing more shopping (at the Nordstrom Rack) and just spending time at home. Then we went to Union City to help Cat's cousins set up the Church Hall for the party on Saturday.

Saturday was spent watching Cat's little cousin's soccer game and then heading to the church hall to finish up setting up for the party...then people started to arrive. It was a great party and I even got to dance the cha cha which I just learned a couple days earlier from Cat's Aunt. Good times just eating, dancing, and hanging out.

Sunday I got to watch the NINERS beat the raider. GO NINERS!!! I was supposed to go to SJ to a friends BBQ but I couldn't make it because we had to catch our flight later that night. The reason why she had the BBQ was because she got engaged over the weekend!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I'm so happy for you and hopefully next time I'm up North I get to congatulate you in person and see your ring, and also see your puppy dog (hopefully she'll still be a puppy when I see her).

That was my weekend summary. This week I'm back at work BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. It sucks to go back to work after such a great weekend, but here I am....such is the life of joe...
