Happy 3 Day weekend!!! WOO HOO! But stupid weather sucks now...it's all cloudy and looks to be that way tomorrow too. STUPID WEATHER!!!

So we had a barbeque today at work just like we always do before any 3-day weekend, and this is really the first one since a lot of the new people arrived. I don't really know a lot of the knew people since I'm stuck in my little lab for most of the work day. This barbeque was pretty weird though...everyone seemed really happy and were having fun...except me. I mean, it was way better than working and I laughed with the Warehouse and Production people...but everyone else was just so into it.

People had their digital cameras and were taking pictures of the barbeque, of people, taking QA group pictures, etc. There was a pinata and everyone was having fun just taking swings at it. Then people started to do a tug-of-war, and skip rope with the rope that we used to hang the pinata. Everyone was so happy. I was just sitting there and watching and just blah.

Funny thing is that one of the newer guys was up doing the pinata and he was doing all these twirls and behind the back martial arts things with the stick. Pretty funny when the stick got tangled up in the rope. Then he started to play with the rope after we had finished up with the pinata and again doing more Wu Shu martial arts stuff with that. Basically just showing off. Yeah, it was cool...but you know how much I love a show off.

Well, the weekend is here and I hope you all have a great 3 day weekend! Hopefully the weather where you're at is a lot better than it is where I am. Such is the life of Joe...

I wanna dip my balls in it...
Pretty boring weekend. Went home to Tulare to visit my Dad before he took off for a month to the PI. What did I do there? Absolutely nothing. Dad was out most of the time I was there playing mah jong or singing karaoke. I just chilled at home not really wanting to go outside because it was so freaking hot outside (93-94 the whole weekend). But it was good seeing Dad.

I saw my First Grade teacher at church which isn't as strange as that may soudn because she's the mother of my brother's best friend so of course she remembers me. It was good seeing her since I haven't seen her in a while. I also got to kick it at Craig's house in Visalia on Saturday night and just hung out and watched TV. Man, his little cousin Bryson is graduating high school and going to LMU next year....damn I'm freaking old.

Craig and I just joked around about our 10 year reunion. I knew it was sometime in May and I thought it would be funny if it was actually this weekend that I made my way up there...it wasn't. It's actually this coming weekend. Too bad I'm busy. Yeah, but I thought about it and if I happened to be in town, was bored as hell, and if the reunion was free, and Craig was going...I'd actually think about going...but since none of those are happening, you won't see me at a reunion.

I also stopped by Mom's grave to wish her a Happy Mother's Day so that was good. I don't think that I've been to visit Mom during mother's day ever since I moved down here to Irvine. Always something going on or something. Of course I would always pray for her, but I think this was the first time I actually went down there and visited her on Mother's Day and it was nice.

So anyone watch Grey's Anatomy last night? Lemme just say one thing...I hate Izzie, I hope she gets kicked off. I hear that katherine heigl's a bitch so I wouldn't mind them kicking that character off the show. STUPID STUPID STUIPD! I actually wasn't too happy with the show because she's so stupid and the whole situation was just stupid. But I have to admit, I'm gonna totally watch tonight's 2 hour finale.

OH yeah, I LOVE how Ken Marino plays such a dick on every show he's on. The name might not sound familiar but he played the Dick Manager who wouldn't shut up in Grey's Anatomy and he plays the dick PI, Vinny Van Lowe, in Veronica Mars, plus remember him back on The State. You're officially in my cool book if you remember what The State was. "I wanna dip my balls in it!" HA HA HA! "I'm outta heeeeeere" HA HA HA! Hilarious! I wonder if they have any DVD's of that show.

We Accidentally Crossed Swords
Another great weekend has come and passed. Went and watched MI:III on Friday. It was alright. I think I had higher hopes for it since it was directed by J.J. Abrahms...it was still entertaining, but it was just alright. Kinda disturbed by the eye though...did they have to keep on showing it? BLECH!

Saturday we headed to Le Creperie in Belmont Shore in Long Beach for May's birthday. Wow, that place is DELICIOUS! I love it! I got the Al Mare crepes and they were so delish and so filling, but of course I had room to have a bite of TOmmy's desert crepe....sooo good.

Later we headed to Jovan and Jay's to watch the Laker game and just to drink for no reason. Good times there although the Lakers lost. Boooooo. I did get to watch all of Entourage season 2 though. I Love that show!!! I can't wait until the 3rd season now!!!
So I was pretty set on getting this new phone, the Nokia N80 and they're just starting to hit the market...at $800 and that's not the retail price...that's cheaper than retail. What's so great about it? 3megapixel camera and Wifi capabilities. But then I saw that Nokia released more N-Series phones and the Nokia N73 looks so nice!!! It doesn't have Wifi like the N80, but it's a lot thinner plus I think they said it's only gonna be $500 retail which means you can get it for a lot cheaper especially if you get it with a phone plan, so I think I might wait for that one to come out. It says July 2006, but it probably won't come out until later than that.

So I was watching this show about what people do in their sleep. Sure you have the "normal" sleepwalking, but there are other people that fight and hit others when they're alseep, grab knives when they're alseep, or just eat when they're alseep. That's freaking crazy!!! I think the only thing that I do in my sleep is snore and snore loudly. I remember Shawn and Tommy once recorded me snoring...bastards. Yeah, but good thing I don't do anything else in my sleep.

Improv Everywhere. HA HA HA! Ok, the end.

Went to the Improv last night to watch Pablo Francisco with Cat. This is only the 2nd time that I'v been to the Improv. The first time was for James' birthday maybe 3 or 4 years ago..and guess who we watched? Pablo Francisco...and he was hilarious. So I had high hopes for tonight...and I wasn't disappointed. He was great!!! Great sound effects, impersonations, and voices. All that you can expect from him. All the openers were great too except for this Tony Danza lookalike. The emcee was hilarious and reminded me of Chris Farley, and the guy right before Pablo (Jeff something or another) was hilarious too. When we got out of there, our cheeks were both hurting from laughing so much. Thanks for a great night!!!

So weekend is finally here. I was gonna go back home to celebrate my Dad's birthday (which is on Saturday) but when I called him earlier this week, he said that he had plans all weekend. Boooooo!!! There's really no point in going back there if I can't at least take Dad out to dinner or something. But I'm gonna try really hard to go back there next weekend, before he heads to the PI on the 17th.

OK, so yeah.....weekend is finally here. HOORAY!!! I love the weekends!!! Hope you all have a great one. Such is the life of Joe...
