Put your stunna shades on...
Pretty fun weekend...but also tiring. We drove all over from LA to SD. Saturday was the draft and we attended Jevon's draft "party" at his place in LA. I say "Party" because it was just Jevon, Cat, and I that were there watching. My SF Niners got Vernon Davis...HOORAY! That guy looks to be a great TE. I can't wait until the season starts and see how he does. Hopefully he can be a regular target for Alex Smith. I'm sorry for all you Raiders fans out there though...I know you probably didn't want that Huff guy...but who knows...maybe he'll be great. Thanks Jevon for the drinks snd pizza though...always a great host.

We then headed to FUllerton to Ziings for Gerard and Yan Yan's birthday celebrations. Fullerton always has a lively bar scene..just because they have a downtown and lots of bars close together. Yan Yan and Gerard were both tipsy and were having a good time. The DJ played pretty good music too. They even played E-40!!! HOORAY!!! "Put your stunner shades on....!" HA HA HA! And they also played that one song I hate/love "Me and You" by Cassie. Yeah, I hate/love it. I really hated it before I found out that the singer is half-Filipino...now it's not AS annoying. Too bad I was at the bar closing my tab when that song came on. Well, Happy birthday Yan Yan and Gerard...hope you had fun.

Lakers game Sunday was AWESOME!!! Did you guys see it? Scrazy!!! I was at my cousin's in San Diego for my neice's baptism and we watched the game at her house. My cousin's husband can't stand the Lakers (he says that his favorite NBA team is the team that's playing the Lakers...ha ha ha). Basically him and Cat were the only ones cheering for the Suns...and they were so sad and disapointed when they lost. HA HA HA! Good handles Steve Nash..you suck...MVP my ass. One step closer to an ALL LA 2nd round of playoffs.

Yeah, so I was in SD today for my little neice, Malina's, baptism. Such a nice day to be down there in SD. The church that they had it in was really nice...newly remodeled. And the baptism fountain wasn't just the regular tub looking thing. It looked like a mini lap pool with a waterfall. And they had steps leading up to it and steps leading IN to it. So all these small kids (my little neice Makaylee included) were just walking up it and almost jumping in. HA HA HA! Funny funny.

I am in need of some new stunna shades. I found a couple of sunglasses that I want to buy. Too bad that one of them is discontinued. BOOOOO!!! They're actually my old pair of sunglasses, but I can't freaking find them anywhere!!! So anyone know where I left my old pair of black Arnette sunglasses? The other sunglasses I want are kinda expensive so maybe I'll save up for that one...next paycheck.

Ok, that's it. Such is the life of Joe...

I <3 Gucci
So remember that I gave up shopping for Lent. Yeah, well, I think I made up for the 46 days that I didn't shop this past weekend. The highlight of the purchases was my Gucci money clip!!!

How sexy is that money clip??? Funny how it cost more than the amount of money I'll be carrying around in it. Oh yeah...and that's my new Gucci wallet I got a while ago...a present from my girlfriend...thanks!!!

Yeah, it was a busy weekend but also a lazy weekend. Had dim sum at this place called Russel's over on Macarthur and Main. I remember I went here a while ago back when I was in UCI...it was a different restaurant then, I can't remember what it was though. Oh yeah..and there's this Brazilian place called Agora were the Oasis used to be...never been to Brazilian food, but I hear it's great.

You know what's a good show? "Entourage" I know that everyone has said that, but I never had access to HBO before. Freaking hilarious show. You know what would be great...if they actually did an Aquaman movie in real life...and 'Vince Chase' starred in it...that would be great! Yeah, Entourage is such a great show we watched it before heading out to Mai Tai to celebrate Belle finishing her PE test.

Mai Tai was fun. Tommy was entertaining. The girl bartender was alright...but you know what? I thought our waitress was better looking than the bartender. Good times there...too bad it was raining. But maybe that was a good thing because it wasn't crowded at all. I remember seeing Tommy pull out a cigarette in the patio and start to smoke...and I'm just thinking to myself...'you can't smoke in here!' and sure enough, the bouncer guys told him to take it outside.

Well, good weekend. Nice and relaxing too. Just a note to self though...no more shopping until June!!! Hope you all have a great week. Such is the life of Joe...

I love lamp...
You know what car commercials I like? ALL the VW ones for the past couple months. From the "FAST" commercials for the new GTI, to the hilarious "Vee-Dub" commercials with that German dude flashing a "VW" sign. But hands down, THE BEST VW commercials have to be those commercials where people are just talking in the car, having a good time, and BOOM!!! they get into an accident! It's sooooooo crazy. I love those comercials because it just surprises you.

I have a lot of crap in my room. I tried to rearrange it a little bit, but I still have a lot of crap. I'm starting to throw some stuff out though. I just threw away most of my Maxim magazines that I've been holding onto. But I think most of my stuff is my comic books. Gotta start scanning those and putting them up on eBay. Oh yeah...I finally got my turquoise star on eBay! HOORAY!!! I have 100 positive feedbacks and 0 negative feedback! I'm 100 and 100% WOO HOO!!!

I hate it when it's fantabulous weather during the work week, and then crap weather during the weekend when i can go out and play. Supposed to be cloudy on Saturday after such a glorious Tuesday-Thursday. Booooooo....but hopefully this weekend I can get some shopping done. Saturday is also Mom's birthday so I'll stop by the church sometime and pray. Funny because my Dad texted me to remind me...but I was kinda insulted by it...of course I know Mom's birthday is on Saturday. Oh yeah, apparently my Dad's going to the Philippines pretty soon too. Hmmmm...maybe I should've visited him before he takes off....but I think he's leaving in a couple weeks. We'll see...

Speaking of shopping, I picked up some Lacoste shirts for my Dad because they were cheap (like $38 each) at Macy's Men in South Coast. But before you rush out there, they were all "Filipino Dad" colors...meaning bright pink, bright lime green, bright blue, gold, purple...think of the tropical flavor skittles...taht's the colors on sale. Yeah, but my Dad happens to like the bright colors. We'll see if he wants them...I'll email him a picture. If he doesn't then back they go.

Ok, the end. Hope you all have a great weekend. Such is the life of Joe...

Let's Go Shopping!
Ahhhhh....good relaxing Easter weekend. Did I do anything exciting? Nothing at all...just chilled at home in the apartment the whole weekend by myself basically. Yeah, no one was home at the apartment on Friday or Saturday nights so to battle my lonliness, I decided to clean the apartment. I just basically put a lot of stuff away so our apartment wouldn't seem so damn cluttered...hope you guys like it.

Easter was good, I woke up later than expected (exhausted from cleaning the previous night) and so missed out on Mass with the familia. I just went to the 12:30 mass all by my lonesome. I did see Kenny leaving the 10:45 mass as I was entering for the 12:30 mass. He was all decked out in a suit...good looking Kenny!!! Yeah, I was just dressed in jeans and a polo and EVERYONE in there had like their BEST clothing on. So note to self...you gotta look really good on Easter.

Church was packed and I LOVE the youth mass at St. John Fisher, but there was this family that was talking the WHOLE MASS! It's one thing to just talk and say "hey, i havne't seen you in a long time" but it's another to make fun of the singing, the choir, the priest, etc. I wanted to tell them to shut up, until I turned around and shook their hands to say "peace be with you" and saw that the daughter was pretty hot. HA HA HA! Also a funny thing at church, is when they sprinkled the holy water on everyone. Usually a little scepter thing is used, but instead they used like a pine branch so it soaked up SOOOO much holy water. Even after the priest shook off the excess water, the first fling of that branch drenched everyone. It was hilarious...i was just hoping that he wouldn't dip it right before he got to me. Luckily he dipped it right after me, and I could see the woman in front of me get completely drenched on the side of her face....HILARIOUS!!!

Easter was fun though just hiding eggs for my little neice Makaylee....she's so friendly now and loves people. It's great playing with her. But as much fun as Easter was, I couldn't wait to get home...

Now it's back to work. Booooo....but at least I can shop now and drink soda!!! WOO HOO!!! Gonna try and do some damage today after work. I betcha I come home empty handed. Hope everyone had a great Easter. Such is the life of Joe...

2 more days
Until I can shop!!! WOO HOO!!! I can't wait!!! Yeah, too bad that I don't have any money to shop since I just mailed in the checks totalling $2200 off to the Federal and State tax boards. BOOOOOOO on TAXES!!!

So did you know that my brother was in town for a few days? Well, I didn't. HA HA HA! No, I knew, but I didn't know beforehand. Shawn asks me if James is staying with me and I ask him why...and he tells me that James is in town. Yeah, just got to see him on Wednesday. We had dinner at Javier's in Laguna which is right next to his work...i love me the chimichanga! Plus it was such an awesome day out...I love CA, I love OC.

So spring days bring spring cleaning to mind. I think that's what I'm gonna do this weekend just to keep me busy so I won't get too lonely. Just spring clean my room and try to do my apartment. Our apartment has so much crap everywhere...it's blah. I mean, most of it is just empty boxes. Let's see if I can throw away lots of boxes and put stuff away into the storage. Yeah, probably won't happen, but at least I'll try.

Ummmmm...I know I was gonna talk about something, but I forgot. Oh well....hope you all have a great weekend and a great Easter!!! Such is the life of Joe...

I Love Punani
Ok, actually I don't know if I love it or not since I didn't get to taste it on Friday night. Yeah, no one ordered the punani at dinner. What the hell are you talking about Joe!!!!????!?!?!? Ohhhhh...sorry, let me explain. Friday night went out to eat at Eva's Kitchen in Laguna Beach. It's this small Carribean restaurant. And guess what they had on the menu??? They had PUNANI!!! HA HA HA! Punani Shrimp, Punani Greens, and to top it off, the refreshing Pink Punani! HA HA HA! If you don't believe me just check out their menu! Food was great, company was great even though they kept harassing me, and the owner is so nice...she gave a hug to each and every person that left that place.

Saturday I was feeling a little under the weather but I sucked it up and we went out to Aloha Grill in Huntington Beach to have lunch with Jon, Flori, and friends. It's crazy that Jon and Flori actually were at Eva's Kitchen last night too...they were there at 5:30, we were there at 8:00. What a coincidence!!!! After lunch, we headed to Brew Bakers to make some beer...mmmmmmmmm....beer. Good times. Happy Birthday Jon, hope you had a lot of fun.

Later that night after dinner at Fleming's, we met up with Ro, Danny, and Danielle at Ocean's in Laguna Beach. Wow, that place gets crowded. But good times there hanging out. I think I was just kinda out of it there and not feeling too well because I think I was starting to get sick...but I still had a lot of fun. HA HA HA! The most hilarious thing happened there. We were dancing by this window right next to the patio and we see this guy just walking fast behind us right to the window...and then BOOM!!!! he hits the window so freaking hard!!! HA HA HA! Hilarious!!! I'm laughing just thinking about it.

So yeah, I woke up on Sunday sick as dog. I was so pweh pweh. I just wanted to sleep all day and that's pretty much what I did all day. But you know what's weird, when I finally got out of bed and got ready and actually went out to church I felt better....just lying at home sick just made me feel sick. Going out and about even though I was sick made me feel better. I think I got better a lot quicker too because I wasn't alone...thanks for taking care of me and getting me back to health...

I was still feeling a little out of it on Monday and I knew that I had nothing to do at work so I just called in sick...and it was great. Ahhhhhhhh....slept until noon and ahhhhhhhhh...sgreat.

Now here I am at work, doing nothing...just blogging because that's all I have to do here at work. Hmmmmmm.....6.5 hours more of doing nothing....great. Well, maybe I'll shop online for all the things I want to buy once Easter gets here. HOOORAY!!! 5 more days until I can shop again!!! Such is the life of Joe...

WHAT?!
First of all...HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. NATHAN!!! Yeah, today is Jon's birthday. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Give him a call and wish him Happy Birthday. Sorry I couldn't take the day off today to enjoy some lobster in Puerto Nuevo...maybe next time though. Man, I could've seen some spring breakers there too! Hope you have a great day today.

Hi again! How're you doing? I'm good...just lazy to blog. I've kinda had time to blog at work, but I don't like doing that because it's so obvious that I'm not working. Yeah, but HARRO!!!

Mammoth - sgreat. I really need to get my own equipment, my boots are really too small for me so I think thats why my feet/legs hurt so much during the end of the day. But Mammoth was great, my favorite place that I've snowboarded ever. I met up with my cousins there too and their house that they rented was AWESOME! Enjoyed the jacuzzi there after snowboarding, which was great and relaxing. Made me wish that I went up with the family 2 days earlier on Wednesday and then meet up with everyone else on Friday.

LOST - sgreat. Everyone raise your hands the moment you saw "Dave" that you knew it was Hurley's imaginary friend. Yup, I did. But I admit it wasn't until the end of the episode that I realized that Libby was in there with Hurley too. CRAZY!!! So crazy!!! Oh yeah, so how did that food get on the island? Sure it was dropped from the air, but it couldn't have been a plane...people would've heard it, right? Hot air balloon maybe? I dunno...whatever. Ummmmmm.....is that all that happened? I can't remember.

So I'm listening to KROQ and Kevin and Bean and this caller has this theory that Katie Holmes wasn't pregnant by Tom Cruise, that she was pregnant by Chris Klein BEFORE she met Tom Cruise and that Tom Cruise just decided to pretend it's HIS kid to end rumors that he's gay, that he's sterile, and for publicity for Mission Impossible 3. This caller said that the baby has already been born and that she's only wearing a padded belly so that they can get the timing right from when she met Tom Cruise. WOW! That's just crazy, huh? They said that if you look at pictures it looks like Katie Holmes had lost her baby weight in her face and legs and that the "belly" is just moving around all over. WOW! CRAZY! So what do you think??? Yes she was pregnant, but it wasn't Tom's and she's not pregnant anymore. Whatcha think???

Ok, the end. Yeah, I'm boring. Such is the life of Joe...
