Raggedy Ann
It's already August?! What the heck is that about?!?!? Time just flies, doesn't it? First off, lemme give some belated birthday wishes: HAPPY BIRTHDAY RITA!!! (July 30) and HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHIEMI!!! (July 31).

Good weekend. Started off with a nice nap on Friday. "What am I, 65?" Yeah, I know...I've been napping a lot lately. I don't get it either. Napping instead of working out, kinda sucks. Went up to LA to finally check out Pat's new place and to play some poker with Pat, Eric, Carlo, Randy, and Joe. All I have to say to Joe is "Queen/4" HA HA HA! Good times!!! Oh yeah on the drive up to LA, the new BEP song "Don't Lie" got in my head. "no no no no, no no no no, don't lie" That was the song of the weekend because I got it in EVERYONE's head...plus Kay singing it the way only Kay can made it awesome.

Saturday was spent getting my first bites of Tito's Tacos. Mmmmm...delicious. Kay and Rach came over and we went to the Valley to look for apartments for Kay. It was hot as a bitch up there...no luck finding apartments. At least we got to go to Camarillo outlets. Can't wait until that Diesel outlet opens!!! Later that night instead of going to Mai Tai bar, went out to eat at the Pig (b/c Pinks was packed). That's where we came up with Rach's new nickname....RAGGEDY!!! WOOO HOOO!!!! Yeah, we also found out some news which really wasn't that surprising....congratulations you two!!! Speaking of marriage..."how do you know he won't be the groom"....all I have to say is WOW. :::sigh:::

Sunday was spent with Kay and Pat apartment hunting once again and HOORAY! Kay actually found an awesome apartment that's right near Revolving Sushi!!! You can walk there! It's awesome!!! The apartment managers seem cool too (I think they're swingers). Oh yeah, I love Kay's version of "Don't Cha"...."Don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me, don't cha wish your girlfriend was RAW like MEAT". HA HA HA! Congratulations Kay!!! YAHOO!!! Now you can buy your long ass table with only one chair. HA HA HA!

Yay! The start of another work week! WOO HOO!!! I LOVE IT! Especially since I have to conduct interviews for a replacement for my coworker. I hate it...I really do....Such is the life of Joe...

Lezy, Lezy, Lezy
First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMMY!!!. WOO HOO!!! You're now part of the "late 20's" so let me welcome you! WELCOME OLD MAN! HA HA HA! Happy Birthday, hopefully you didn't bring back SARS with you from China!

I'm still a lazy ass. I don't know what it is. I'm so freaking tired this whole week. I was supposed to work out today but instead I went home first and told myself I would work out later...but that didn't happen because I took a nap!!! What's wrong with me?!?! Do you think its all the junk food that I've been eating that's making me lazy? It probably is. Gonna finish up all my junk food and eat better again (do I hear Atkins calling?). Plus someone called me FET so I'm all self conscious now. Gee...thanks.

Fine, since everyone else is doing it, I'll do Lou's survey:
1. If you were a ninja, what would your ninja name be and what would you do now that you're a ninja?
My name would be "Shadowfinger" (HA HA HA!!! ask Tommy why that's funny) and now since I'm a ninja, I'd start building my arsenal starting with some nunchucks made out of empty toilet paper rolls, and some paper ninja throwing stars! You best watch out!

2. Do something completely unexpected and random like Natalie Portman's character in Garden State and describe what you just did.
Ok, I'm sitting here on my couch, watching TV, with my legs up on the coffee table, typing this survey, while doing the "Ying Yang Twins" "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

3. Name 3 of your favorite toys growing up as a kid.
uno) My '57 Chevy MASK vehicle. It transformed into a tank and had this spare tire that used to shoot off. I'd make walls out of "upwords" tiles and break it down by shooting that tire at it.
dos) Castle Greyskull!!! I used to turn that thing sideways and use that trapdoor thing as an actual door. It was awesome.
tres) my Glowworm, I mean....I didn't have a stupid nightlight dressed up as a worm!

4. What's something obscure you learned in school that you somehow still remember?
Umm...."I before E except after C".

5. You wake up one morning and find out you're a princess. Who would be your prince and how would you rule over your people?
If I'm a princess I'd have Jessica Alba as my prince...she can be the husband in the relationship. We wouldn't have people to rule over, we'd rule over my own private island where my "prince" would lounge out naked all day long...ahhhhhhhhh.

6. Which song do you think is the best "feel-good" song in the history of mankind?
"Don't Stop Believing" - Journey (She's just a small town girl...living in a lonely world. come on, you know you wanna sing!!!)

7. If you had the option to live the rest of your life in a constant orgasm...would you take it?
No way! Sure it might be great for the first hour or so, but then you'd get all desensitized to it and it would just be normal to you. Then what would you do to get off? You know? Like it wouldn't be pleasurable to you anymore, that would SUCK!

8. Osama bin Laden has been captured by the Marines and they turned him over to you to get some answers out of him. What methods of torture would you use?
Force him to listen to "Gasolina", "Phunk With My Heart" and "Back Then" (by Mike Jones) on a 24 hour rotation. That alone will break ANYBODY!

9. Complete this sentence: "Yo mama so _____, she _______!"
Yo mama so wonderful, she should ALWAYS be appreciated

10. What is the most touching/memorable moment of your life?
When I went to Sapphire and got a lap dance from Rain, she touched me a lot then. Ohhhhhhh...you mean emotional touching moment? My "Supplies" Birthday party last year.

HOORAY! Weekend is FINALLY here. Such is the life of Joe...

Lezy ass Fetty
That's what I was earlier today (well, on Tuesday). Tuesdays are my workout days (along with Thursday) and I usually go right after work. But today I forgot my workout clothes and had to go home to get them. I decided to take a little nap and 2 hours later I was too lazy to go work out. So I just proceeded to snack on some ice cream and Doritos. LEZY AND FET!

I dunno what's wrong with me. I think it's that time of the month or something because I'm lezy and I'm eating bad. I went to the grocery on Monday to buy some salad and chicken to make for dinner, but guess what I left with? Doritos, Funyuns (w/ wasabi flavor...pretty interesting), ice cream (the slow churned stuff, so it's 1/2 the fat, meaning I eat twice as much), some donuts, and Cheez-It's...AND NO CHICKEN OR SALAD! What the heck! Plus I didn't work out today?! BOOOOOOOOOL...I'm fet and lezy.

Has anyone seen that new Nine Inch Nails video "Only" directed by David Fincher? AWESOME video. You know those novelty gifts that you can buy at Spenser's gifts which is like a bed of nails and it'll conform to whatever you push on it (like if you push your fist through it, it'll look like a fist?). Well, basically the video is that thing with Trent Reznor's face in it singing. It's awesome. David Fincher is an awesome director...well, at leat visually. Fight Club, The Game, Panic Room, and Seven just to name a few.

So someone was talking about "The Island" and other new movies like "Fantastic Four" and I realized something....Scarlet Johansen would've been such a perfect Invisible Woman for Fantastic Four. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Jessica Alba, but Jessica Alba isn't Sue Storm...Sue Storm is a blond white girl, not a dyed blond Latina. Scarlet would've been perfect! Yeah, haven't watched those movies...don't plan to...I'll wait for video.

Ok, that's it for now...Such is the life of Joe...

Ste-vaaaaaan
LAGUNA BEACH was today!!! AWESOME! I LOOOOOVe that show. That being said....it SUCKED! It was boooooooooooooring. Last season was better because Kristin and LC were bitches to each other and it was drama every episode. This first episode sucked because there was really no drama. All you got was introductions to the new girls, get to be jealous over LC's house and that new girl, Casey's AWESOME house, get to check out LC's awesome body (yes, LC NOT Kristin, Jovan), and that was it. No real drama :::yawn::: (nope, no :::sigh::: this time) so hopefully the next episodes are better.

Check out this link that Joe de los IM'ed me: Aim Fight. Basically you "fight" against a buddy to see who has more acquaintances online. They count up to 3 degrees (meaning your buddy's buddy's buddy's). Doesn't mean you're more popular, b/c let's face it, how many people on your buddy list do you actually talk to? I only talk to a handful on a regular basis.

Watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind on the way back from San Diego (Craig has a DVD player in his car). AWESOME. I looooooooove that movie. I haven't watched it in a while, I really need to buy the DVD.

I love Battlestar Galactica, awesome show. I also just finished watching "Firefly" the whole first season, which is actually their only season. It's such an awesome show, Joss Whedon is a great writer (just check out "Buffy" and "Angel"). Sucks how it's canceled now, but there is a movie coming out of it called "Serenity". So I'm wondering how likely it is if the movie does well, that they'll bring back "Firefly" as a regular TV show? I dunno, it's not as simple as brining back Family Guy, you have to get all the actors back and hopefully they aren't on new projects. Plus Joss Whedon is busy writing for Marvel Comics (X-Men to be exact). Ummmm...anyone still reading this? Ohhhhh...hi Jevon and Berto, how's it going???

Ok, I thought I was gonna write about something else, but I forgot what it was....Such is the life of Joe...

Mad Dog!!!
Another great weekend finished. BOOOOOOOL. This weekend was spent in San Diego, yes, San Diego, not LA, SD. Chilled in San Diego at Shawn and Rita's place with the San Jose peeps and old CBC people. Good times just kicking it.

Saturday was barbeque time and swimming at the pool. Silly me decides not to put any sunblock on and we were in the pool for maybe 4 hours. Yeah, needless to say, I'm sunburnt. Well, no one can really tell, but I can tell because it burnt when I took a shower. It's only my shoulders and neck that are burnt.

After a quick nap we headed to Yardhouse in Gaslamp. But we had to get malsada's first at Ono's. While we were waiting (waiting a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time) we headed to a liquor store and guess what they had there? It was Mad Dog 20/20!!! WOO HOO!!! I've been looking for some Mad Dog for the longest time!!! I finally got some! AWESOME!!! Headed to Gaslamp...I LOVE that place! Gaslamp is such a great place to just walk around, barhop, and hang out. It was good times just hanging out, drinking, dancing, and making fun of how Nicole dances. HA HA HA! Good times.

We took off from Yardhouse early to go to Coronado to go on a grunion run. Too bad there were absolutely NO grunion out there at all!!! DAMMIT! Ok, ok, there was 1 grunion that they found, but we were out there for a good hour and that was the only one we saw. We headed out to Santana's for some Carne Asada Fries/Chips/Burritos...mmmmmmmmmmm...delicious. Too bad that my eyes were bigger than my stomach.

Yeah, we really only had a full day to hang out but it was still so much fun. So much fun just kicking it and hanging out. So yeah, once again, it's not what you do, it's who you're with that determines the amount of fun that you have.

San Diego Pictures

Ok, that's it for now, I'll talk to you laters. Such is the life of Joe...

Weak Sauce!!!
Dude, it's freaking HOT!!! Yesterday was the hottest day ever!!! Going out to lunch sucks when you step into your car that's 120 degrees since there's not shaded parking at my work! BLAH! Turning on the AC at home is awesome, but going to bed with the window open and fan going and you're still sweating? Not awesome....

Mmmmmmm...C&O's last night was great. I love that place. Huge portions even when you order the small individual meals. Plus their garlic rolls...mmmmmm...delicious! And don't forget the cianti (sp?). Great food, great friends, and of course singing along to "That's Amore" is always fun. "Taste the soup. - What's wrong? - Just taste the soup. - Is it too cold? - Just taste the soup. - Alright, where's the spoon? - Aaaaahhhh HHHHaaaa!" Hilarious! That movie is classic.

You know what? I think I'm weak sauce now (or maybe I've always been weak sauce). I knew ahead of time that the wine was gonna jack me up because wine always does that to me...it tastes good, but then creeps up on you. I think I only had 2 glasses and I had a good buzz going. WEAK SAUCE! Even 2 beers had be good and buzzed that one night at BJ's. WEAK SAUCE!

I get home and I turn into our apartment complex and on one side of the street it's completely pitch black. On the other side, all the street lights and lights in the apartment were on. BLACKOUT! Good thing that my apartment was on the side that still had electricity. It would've sucked to go home to an empty apartment that was pitch black. SCARY!

Yeah, so I'm in the apartment all to myself for a week. Tommy is in China as we speak. So I get to walk around naked everywhere which is good since it's so freaking hot. Kinda nice being in the apartment all to myself, but I'm sure it'll get old. Too bad I don't have a hot girl to bring home since the apartment is empty. Dammit, I got 6 days to find a hot girl...

Almost the weekend. Going to SD to chill at Shawn and Rita's with some friends. Plus we're gonna watch the Grunion Run on Saturday night. It'll be nice and chill and relaxing. Sucks how the 1 time I've been at the beach this year has been at night (for a bonfire) and probably the next time is gonna be at night too (for the grunion run). Let's go to the beach!!! August 6th? August 7th? Those are dates that were thrown out there...

Well, that's it....Battlestar Galactica is still a great show, still trying to catch up on that series. WSOP on ESPN is getting me hooked again. Such is the life of Joe...

Meh
So I'm hooked on Battlestar Galactica now. I just downloaded all the first season and it's sooooooooooo good. Yeah, I'm addicted. That's what I'm going to be doing for the next couple weeks...watching and catching up to the episodes. Too bad the new episodes are on Friday nights at 10pm, I'm usually out (STOP LAUGHING! I AM USUALLY OUT! REALLY!!!)

So I went swimmming today and man, am I tired. It was a good workout, so good, that my quads started to cramp up. Not fun. So next time, gotta take it easier, gotta buy some nose plugs (since all this water went in my nose when I try doing turns at the ends of the pool), and gotta make this swimming thing a more consistent workout.

Just made around $120 selling crap on eBay. I guess that's pretty good, but considering I probably spent maybe $300 buying that stuff originally, it doesn't look AS great. I was kinda hoping to get more money for those G.I. Joe comics, but at least $0.99 is something. So I thinned my comic collection from about 2000 to 1960. Spent maybe a good $80.00 on those 40 comics I sold, and sold them for ~$20.00. BLAH! But at least it kinda offsets all of the spending that I've been doing this month.

I think my whole paycheck for next month is going to pay off my credit card. SUCKS! I've spent way too much on crap and also way too much fixing my car (stupid brakes, who need em?). Trying not to spend anything until after the 22nd (when my credit card statement closes). We'll see how that goes. Maybe time to put more stuff up on eBay???

Good chill weekend. Too hot to go out and do anything. Note: eating practically a whole bag of Dorritos is not good for you, but can be accomplished. Also, Jovan, you need to get that pool cleaned. I swear it's a breeding ground of West Nile Mosquitos and 5 armed frogs and 3 eyed toads. YUCK! Lemme know if you need any help with that pool...if you drain it I'll test it out with my skateboard, it might be fun. HA HA HA!

That's it for now...nothing really to talk about. Looking forward to the weekend though...SD is always a nice place to go to. Such is the life of Joe...

Say Hello
Random memory that made me laugh to myself: In Costa Rica our 2nd day at the Tabacon Hot Springs. We got keys for some lockers. These keys have numbers on them that correspond to the locker number. Jeff tries his key on a locker and it wouldn't open. We told him it was the wrong locker because it didn't match with the number on his key. Jeff then says something like, "I didn't know that. Last night I just stuck my key in a locker and it opened". HA HA HA! Ryan and I started busting up...and it wasn't only us that was laughing...some stranger who overheard what Jeff said started busting up too, which made it 10 times funnier. HA HA HA! How lucky can you be to randomly stick a key in one of like 200 lockers and have it be the right one?! HA HA HA!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh...Costa Rica..the memories.

So I checked my hit tracker and I got a hit from Morehouse College. I wondered? Who do I know from Morehouse? I better not make any more Stevie Wonder jokes/comments on my blog (since Morehouse is a predominantly African-American College), then I realize that it's in ATL and so it's probably Riann. HI RIANN!. There were a couple hits from Yahoo search, and I thought I had taken my blog off all the search engines?! And it's the same person who does it...just bookmark me so you don't have to search for me. (which reminds me, my blog is one of Tinz's "favorites"! YAHOO! HI TINZ!!!).

Which makes me wonder, who really DOES read my blog? I mean, I know the people who DO read it (from comments, the shoutbox, people telling me, etc.) but there are some hits where I have no idea who/how they got to my blog and it makes me wonder if I know these people. I wonder if I have regular readers who I don't know (like friends of friends, old long lost friends, etc.). Don't worry, I don't mind strangers reading my blog. If I wanted to keep it private to only my friends I'd require login and password for everyone, but I don't. So read on, enjoy my stories. Laugh with me. Laugh AT me. But drop me a line, a shout in the shoutbox, a comment in the comments, an IM on my AIM link. Something like "Hi this is Jessica Alba, stumbled on your blog and you're funny...wanna make out?". Ok, or maybe something more realistic like, "stumbled through your blog through so and so's blog, just saying wassup, keep up the funny stories", or "remember me? so and so from this or that? just saying hello". Yeah, I don't think any of you are gonna do that, well, maybe the people I know that read my blog, but that isn't the point now, is it?

So I went home during lunch yesterday (as usual) and guess what movie was on? It was "Brown Sugar"! AWESOME! I REALLY like that movie. Yeah, I'll check out "Love Jones" and "Love and Basketball" too, thanks for the recommendations.

Finally it's Friday!!! YAHOO!!! I loooove the weekend. There's a big Nordstrom sale going on AND a sale at Active. (Hmmmmm...eating or check out Nordstrom during lunch???) DAMMIT! Hopefully I don't spend too much. Such is the life of Joe...

I Used To Love H.E.R.
Did a mini workout today. Just did arms. But I did weigh myself, and those 2/3 weeks of not working out and eating like crap has added 5 pounds to my frame. GREAT! Time to start working out regularly now and eating better again. That's what happens when you run out of chicken breat and keep forgetting to buy more and it takes too long for your salmon to defrost...you start eating Carl's Jr. (mmmmmmm...Carl's Jr.). Note to self: work out again, eat better, start swimming once a week.

So anyone have experience with the whole Costco return policy? I heard that you can return anything there, whenever you want, even if you don't have a receipt. Actually, I heard conflicting stories of it has to be within 1 year, or 5 years. (I know with computers you need to return it in 6 months, it says so on their website). I'm just wondering...because that'd be so awesome. Buy a plasma TV and return it a year later and get your money back (of course you'll be out that money until then, but still). I was actually looking into this to "test out" a Rebel XT for Chicago...HA HA HA.

I watched "Brown Sugar" last night on VH1. It's one of those kinds of movies that Randy likes. HA HA HA!!! But you know what? I liked it. It was good and funny. About friends being more than friends with hip hop as a background story. Maybe I should check out more of "Randy's Movies". The only other "Randy's Movies" that I've watched was "Soul Food" and "The Wood" both of which I liked too. I've heard that "Love Jones" is good though (right Cici?) so maybe I'll check that out when I have a chance.

Yay! It's Thursday! I love Thursday! Because Friday is around the corner! Hooray! One more day after today until the weekend! YAHOO!!! Such is the life of Joe...

Mmm...funnel cake
First of all. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY JOVAN!. I didn't forget, I wished you a Happy Birthday on your blog. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE!!! (no, not me silly, Joe De Los Reyes) and HAPPY BIRTHDAY FERNAND. Yeah you guys are old. Take some birthday shots for me (no Patron Joe...blech) and have a great time celebrating turning one year wiser!!! YAHOO!!!

I worked out for the first time in 2 weeks yestrday...and boy are my shoulders/arms sore. I thought I could hop right back to lifting what I was lifting before...yeah, I kinda managed (kinda gave out on the last sets) but WOW am I sore right now. I didn't go to my normal gym (the 24 Hour Sport by the Spectrum in Irvine) or my backup gym (the 24 Hour on Culver by 99 Ranch), I went to the 24 Hour Sport in Foothill Ranch. Kinda close to my work, and I just wanted to have different scenery. It's a nice gym, and it really wasn't crowded at all compared to the Sport at the Spectrum. So maybe it might become my regular work our place now...we'll see.

I can't wait until July 25th. Why? Because it's the new season of Laguna Beach!!! YAHOO!!! I saw a preview for it yesterday and it looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. I don't know why I'm addicted to that show. It's probably because it's so much drama and you get to laugh at bitches being bitches. It's GREAT! Plus season 1 comes out on DVD, I think next week! YAHOO!

Thought about going to Vegas for half a second this weekend. But realized I don't have any money to make it a fun trip. So sorry Sherwin, maybe next time. Tell Tony "Hi" for me. But Sherwin did get me hooked on Flickr. Looks like a nice photo hosting sight. Too bad I don't have any new pictures to post up. Plus all my pictures compared to Jon and Sherwin's don't match up since they have dSLR's.

Did you see? Did you seee? IHOP has Funnel Cake! LET'S GO!!! FUNNEL CAKE!!! Sure we can have the real thing at the fair, but IHOP! ANYTIME! mmmmmmmmmm...my mouth is watering right now.

Ok, random post today...just posted just to post so my readers (:::cough cough::: dana :::cough cough:::) could have something to entertain them at work. Such is the life of Joe...

Survey Says...
From Tommy

01. If you woke up tomorrow morning and you were the opposite gender, what would be the first thing you'd do?
Honestly, I'd Masturbate...so I'd know what really gets a woman off (you like that answer girls??? I'm single!!!) Second thing I'd do would give Melissa a call...actually, that might be the first thing I do

02. If you could be invisible for a whole day, what would you do?
Probably just mess around with my friends. Play tricks on them. Eavesdrop on conversations, etc.

03. If you could completely get rid of one fashion trend that you personally don't like, what would it be?
UGG boots, or travis barkers "wear XL cut off tees with dickies shorts that barely hang onto my lower thighs (because they sag so low)"

04. If you could dye your hair ANY color, what color would you choose?
Blue just because....

05. If you could look like any celebrity, who would you choose and why?
Ummm...DUH!? BRAD PITT of course!!! Why? Have you seen him?

06. If you could spend one hour with ANYONE, (alive or dead) who would it be, and why?
Easy question....MOM. Why? Just to talk to her see what she thinks of my life and what I'm doing with it. Ask her what I should be doing and just to spend time with her before she goes off back to heaven.

07. If you won a million dollars in the lottery, what would you do with the money?
I always said if I won the lotto I'd split it between me, my brother, and my dad. But with only a million dollars? I'd probably just buy a house and invest the rest.

08. If you could tell one person ANYTHING, what would it be, and who would it be?
Lindsay Lohan --> "eat something!"

09. If you saw your favorite celebrity in the street, what would be your first reaction?
First reaction? Amazement, excitement, probably follow them around for a bit and build up the courage to approach them and say, Mr. Pitt, can I get a picture with you?

10. If you could change your first name to anything you wanted, what would you change it to?
Ummmm...I'd change it to 'Joseph'? Since I do go by that name, but that's really my middle name (my first name is John). But then that'd be silly if I was Joseph Joseph Mama.

11. What's one feature of your appearance that you absolutely like?
Shoulders

12. If you were told today that you had only a month to live, what would be all the things you would do, or say before you died?
Tell everyone that has ever made a positive impact in my life that I love them. Spend as much time surrounded with friends/family as possible. Make sure my Will was ready, set up DNR signs for me (I don't wanna be hooked up to a machine), and set up funeral arrangements and other funeral stuff. Record videos for everyone telling them how much they've impacted my life. You know...the usual...

13. If you could change any part of your appearance, what would it be?
My big ears, my underbite, or to grow at least another 3 inches (in height, Jevon, not length!)...hmmmm...decisions decisions...

14. If you had your own line of cosmetics, what would you call it, and what kind of products would you make?
Skin care crap containing sunscreen that won't hurt when it freaking gets in your eyes. I'd call it..."Johnjay"

15. If you had your own line of underwear, how would you design it?
For men, ummmm....the regular boxer briefs and boxers, but NO tighty whities...my underwear is made for adults. I'd try to invent some boxers that don't bunch up because I hate that! For women...ummm....bras and panties...but no granny panties.

16. If you could have one super power, what would it be?
The ability to read minds, but not an uncontrolled power. Like I don't wanna hear EVERYONE's thoughts. I'd only want to read peoples minds that I want to read. Like if I was playing poker I'd know to call a Q/6 against my A/8, but then I'd still probably lose on the river! BITCHES!!!

17. If you had the choice would you rather be Marilyn Monroe for a day, or Madonna?
Madonna because..ummm...yeah, she's still alive.

18. Do you believe your dreams have significance?
Yes'm they have significance, but you have to be careful of what they're trying to tell you. Misinterpretation is VERY easy especially if you want something to happen. But the thing is...I don't remember my dreams at all. The last dream I remembered was maybe a month ago when I dreamt there was an earthquake (and then there was an earthquake the next day).

19. *Total number of films I own on DVD/video:
I'd guess like 117? My DVD List at DVD Aficionado. I haven't bought a DVD in a while. I was crazy for a while buying a new DVD every Tuesday.

20. *The last film I bought:
Star Wars Trilogy (A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi)

21. *Last film I watched at home:
From my collection? Garden State, or Chasing Amy.

22. 6 films I watch a lot or mean a lot to me:
Chasing Amy, Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Swingers, Can't Hardly Wait, Office Space.

23. *Tag 5 people and have them answer these questions on their blog:
The first five people that read this and haven't answered it yet. HAVE FUN!

We roll deep
I don't know what it is but do we ALWAYS have to roll deep? If 30 people in Vegas with one group of friends isn't enough then it's 20 other friends trying to get a table at BJ's on a Friday night. MAN! But as much logistical trouble it creates, it's still nice to know that you have this big (ok, ok, HUGE) circle of friends that you can kick it with.

Friday night bonfire at Hungtington Beach was nice. Really the first time I've been on the beach this year. Good times kicking it with the crew. Headed over to BJ's to meet more people (totaling 20) and it was good to see friends I haven't seen in a while. I still can't believe that it's already July and I haven't kicked it at the beach at all this year!!! (Costa Rica doesn't count)

Good times at BJ's. Chilling, eating, talking. Oh yeah, if Jenn asks you to perform some stupid trick don't do it....you'll only end up hitting yourself in the face. And make sure you don't fall for it twice. DAMMIT! I knew it was gonna end up with me hitting my face, I just wasn't sure when. BLAH!!!! I hate you Jenn...(awwww, how nice).

BJ's was great, stupid me gets drunk off of like 3 beers. But you know how I drink, I kill beers. Plus killing beers on an empty stomach is not a good combination. But drunk joemama is always good times. I LOVE YOU!!! HA HA HA!

Saturday I went to bebe to get Rach her present and dude, the girl helping me at the counter had AWESOME BOOBS! It was amazing. I mean, it was like she was wearing a corsett (sp?) because they were kinda pushed together and definitely pushed up. It was awesome, especially when she bent over to get the gift card. MAN! And this is coming from a self confessed ASS man. Yes, awesome site. Yeah, I can't get over it...

Rach's graduation party on Saturday. I was right around the corner from you, Cici,(did you guys have fun at Mai Tai Bar?) and down the street from Jevon too. Good times. :::sigh::: HA HA HA! Hilarious. I think you were too enwrapped in your conversation to hear me and Randy :::sigh:::'ing. Good times, chilling, eating, drinking, gambling, and hanging out. Still talking about Vegas and that was 2 weeks ago. You can tell what a great time we had if we're still talking and laughing and joking about it.

I've been itching to play some Hold 'Em for a while now and I finally got my chance to. Yeah, I played stupidly the first round because I haven't played in a while. But the 2nd game I was doing good. Until freaking JOE starts to beat me on CRAP HANDS! When I have an A/9 and the flop comes out A/Q/8 and I go all in thinking everyone would fold so I could get their money, why would you call and say that you KNOW I have the Ace when you only have Q/6? And you catch that 6 on the turn? WHAT THE CRAP IS THAT!?!?! I hate you Joe....

It was when I was playing poker that I realized where I recognized a couple of Rach's brother's friends from. I used to play poker at their house every week. I know their old roommates but was never introduced to them. It turns out one of them is Russel, Rach's brother. What a small world, huh??? Oh yeah...did you like my card Rach? Don't be "biter"...HA HA HA! I hope you liked it!!! GAME ON!!!!

Funniest thing of the night wasn't :::sighing:::'ing though. The funniest thing of the night was hearing Carlo say "though" after EVERY sentence though. HILARIOUS though! I NEVER noticed it before until Edwin told me about it in Vegas though. HA HA HA though! Carlo was telling a story and I kept on busting up though. HA HA HA though! LOVE IT though!

You know what's funny though (dammit! I didn't mean to type though just then!!!)? I think everyone is as excited or MORE excited than Gwen and Pat that they got a place in LA. I swear that place is gonna need 30 pillows, 30 toothbrushes, and 30 pairs of keys with a sign in/sign out chart. HA HA HA. Fantone and I should've slept over that night...I don't know what we were thinking...next time...

Sunday was crazy because I got woken up by a phone call from my Dad who I thought was just calling to say hello. But he goes, "I'm at Disneyland and I'm coming over". HA HA HA! What the heck?! He just dropped off some family friends at Disneyland and was gonna go back home but decided to drop off some stuff he got us from the PI. Got some nice candies and cookies (broas? ladie's fingers? blech going straight to the trash, I think I still have an unopened can of broas from when he went to the PI last year). Plus he also got me and my brother some Lacoste shirts. Fake Lacoste shirts, but still nice (unless you look at the Crocodile). I also got a chance to give him his Father's Day present...his Johnny Walker Blue Label. It was so funny when he saw it because he hugged it and actually gave it a kiss!!! HA HA HA! I love my Dad, so funny. Him and Tito Ben had a bottle when they went to the Philippines...now he has one for home. Just don't waste that stuff...it's expensive!!!

Went to an Angel's game with John John, Ivy, and Ryan and met up Dana and friends there. The game sucked. Angels lost to the Mariners...THE MARINERS! What the hell?!?! So tired afterwards I went home and knocked out. Missed mass...makes it 3 weeks in a row. Note to self...GO TO FREAKING CHURCH YOU FREAKING SINNER!!!

Oh yeah, I'm NEVER gonna live that shirt down, huh? MAN! I hate you Leia, and you too Cile for posting it! BLAH!!!! (So I've said I hate a lot of people in this blog...but being hated by joemama is a good thing...i only hate my friends). Such is the life of Joe...

Cleaning out my closet
So I burnt the roof of my mouth this past weekend eating some hot corn on the cob at Shawn's friend's house. BOOOL! So I burned off a layer of some non-keratinized stratified squamous epithelia (ok, only those of you who took Anatomy with me know that). It's fine most of the day but when I eat it kinda hurts. I ate Taco Bell today for lunch (I know how bad it is) and the chips I had were tearing up the roof of my mouth plus the hot sauce hurt it too. Booooooooooool!

Trying to clean out some crap from my closet. I have a LOOOOOOOOT of old clothes to give away. I might actually sell some on eBay but I doubt it, kinda too much trouble for that. I'm also trying to put some of my crap comics, unopened DVD's, and other crap on eBay for some extra cash. Do I need the money? It'd be nice but it's mostly to clean out my closet. So much crap in there.

Kinda sucks when you go through your old clothes trying to figure out if you wanna give it away or not. I have stuff that I haven't worn in 2 years in there. But I still look at them and say, "maybe I'll wear that sometime". Well, I dunno about you but if I haven't worn something in 2 years, I'm probalby not gonna wear it anytime soon. Still kinda pains me when I pull something and put it in the "give away" pile. Ok, I admit, sometimes I pull something and say "what the hell was I thinking?"

So I was bored at work and started to play with my IPOD. PLAY? Yes, Play. Did you know that there's games on your IPOD? It's pretty awesome! My favorite is the "music quiz" where is plays clips of random songs on your IPOD and you have to pick the correct song from 5 different choices. It's pretty entertaining! SGREAT!!!

So I got new tires and my brakes fixed and my car feels and sounds soooooooooooo much better. I LOVE IT! I should've done this a while ago! I was used to hearing that screeching everytime that I got into the car that it sounded like I was deaf after my brakes got fixed. AWESOME! Still have yet to get a smog check and get my car registered yet. Hopefully I don't get pulled over :::knock on wood:::.

I haven't worked out in 2 weeks. I was gonna go today but I didn't get back from getting my brakes fixed until like around 7:30ish and by then I was way too lazy. Maybe that's why I've been so tired lately? Am I tired lately because I haven't been working out? Or am I not working out because I've been tired lately? Ahhh...classic "chicken and egg" question.

Tomorrow is FRIDAY! YAHOO!!! Pretty busy weekend...maybe it's the weekends that are tiring me out. Anyways...hope ya'll have a great weekend :::sigh::: Such is the life of Joe...

Money woes...
I'm freaking frustrated now. I don't like digging into my savings account for money, but I think I have to. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!! BOOOOOOOOL, I say!!! I have ALL this freaking stuff I need to pay for:
- June Rent
- July Rent
- $100+ for car registration
- ~$70 for smog check
- ~$250 for 2 new tires
- pay off my 2 credit cards (I always pay those suckers off b/c my APR sucks!!!)
- I NEED new brakes (i'll put those off until I can't stop anymore, but you can hear me from a mile away because my brakes are squeeking even when I'm not braking)
- plus I still have to eat and stuff...
Dude, gambling in Vegas was not a good idea. STUPID ME!!!! I know I'm being stupid and there's a lot more people worse off than me, but it's just frustrating for me. BLAH!

I guess one good thing is that I've earned $150 cash back from my credit cards so that'll help pay for some of my bills/expenses (gotta love Citibank Dividend card...5% back on gas, groceries, drug stores; 1% back on all other purchases...it really adds up)

It doesn't help that I tend to shop when I'm bored. Or the fact that I'm online browsing online sites for stuff. I mean just today I was pricing out new mattresses (I'm jealous Rachey got a new bed) and also a DVD burner for my computer. Both of which I really don't need, but things that I want.

Ok, I'm probably exaggerating, but I need to stop shopping and buying things. Gotta return this one stupid purchase I made soon because I can't afford it. Plus I gotta start selling stuff on eBay like I planned which will give me a little extra money.

Ok, that's my bitching bitching entry. BOOOOL on bitching entries, especially when it's a trivial thing like me spending too much money. At least it's hump day...waiting for the weekend...as usual. Such is the life of Joe...

I'm Shazy...
The end of a long weekend. :::sigh::: (ohhhhhh, I can't wait!!! HA HA HA!)

Long weekend's are always good weekends...and this was no exception. Started out on Friday by doing some eBay stuff, eating at BJ's, ("do you guys like BJ's? " HA HA HA!!! do you realize what you said?), loading an IPOD with hundreds of songs (I'm sure you've got that Hillary Duff song "Come Clean" on repeat! HA HA HA!), and ended the night swimming laps (swimming laps is tiring, especially when it's like midnight...I was sore the next day). Oh yeah, I finally got those U2 songs to load into my IPOD, so let me know when you want them.

Saturday was spent trying to get a smog check but failing because I have aftermarket headers on. Then I rotated my tires because my right front tire has the metal bands showing while the back tires look brand new. I saw my brother off as he packed up some of his stuff and went on his way to move up to Alameda. Wished him a early happy birthday too. Then proceeded down to SD for Kay's birthday barbeque.

Kay's family party was a lot of fun. Lots of good food, and great company. Kay's friends are hillarious telling stories of Kay. "Shazy" became the word of the day...no, it's the word of the year. HA HA HA! Shazy! Hilarious!!! Good times telling Kay stories, Vegas stories, drinking, and just talking. It really was a good night and it just shows that all you need is a great group of friends and some conversation (ok, maybe some alcohol too) to have a good time. It was great times.

The next day was spent walking around Coronado, eating Carne Asada Fries (or in my case a California Burrito), watching Wild Boyz and Beauty and the Geek, and having a nap party. All I know is I'm never gonna say another word near Leia again or else she's gonna use it against me somehow ("why're you looking at his mouth?"). HA HA HA! I know, I know..."that's what we do". Good times. Thanks Kay for all the hospitality! It was fun!!!

I then headed to Shawn and Rita's house in SD to just swim and chill for the rest of the weekend. Good times just chilling, eating, hanging out at Shawn's friend's parent's house with all of Shawn's old friends and also being witness to her daughter's firt time in the pool and first steps. She's soooooooo cute. Shawn's friend's are awesome because they always make me feel welcome.

I really can't believe that any work expects people to come in on Tuesday the 5th. Isn't the fouth of July known for drinking and playing? Yeah, we'll see how my Tuesday goes...I hope it's going great for all of those that're working. Such is the life of Joe...
