Such is the life of Joe...
I love you, Indie!!!So another reason that I was having a great day yesterday was a couple songs that I heard on the radio during work. The reason I love Indie 103.1 so much is because they play awesome stuff. Sex Pistols, the Clash (love em), Ramones (love em), the Cure, and more obscure stuff. Sgreat. Yeah, sure other radio stations play the Cure, but I heard "A Night Like This" which is probably my favorite Cure song and you don't hear that anywhere. Well, the song that brightened up my day (I wasn't sad, it just made it so much better) was "It's A Shame About Ray" by the Lemonheads. Ahhhhh....the Lemonheads...that was a great album of the '90's. Remember when Evan Dando was the hot new guy? I remember that I thought Juliana Hatfield (who did backup vocals on this album) was the hottest thing in Doc Marten's.
Speaking of Juliana Hatfield. One of my favorite episodes of "My So Called Life" was the Christmas episode when Ricky runs away from home and Angela goes to all these homelss shelters to find him. Her mom and her got in a fight, one of those fights where "you aren't having the fight...the fight's having you". And Juliana Hatfield is the homeless girl that becomes friends with Angela...and I LOVE the surprise ending. SOOOO GOOD.
Speaking of My So Called Life...I'm pretty sad to hear that Life As We Know It has been pretty much canceled on ABC. I havne't seen a new episode in the longest time. And on SVU on Tuesday I saw one of the stars of LAWKI guest star on SVU. BOOO!!! Why is it that all the good shows that I get into (My So Called Life, Freaks and Geeks, and Life As WE Know It get canceled and crap like the OC and One Tree Hill stay on the air. (Hey, I admit I watch those shows...but seriously...they're crap.)
But not only did they play the Lemonhead's It's A Shame About Ray, they also played in the same hour the Pixies Here Comes Your Man. Another great band from the '90's. Lemonheads and the Pixies. Sooooo awesome. After class I went home and listened to their albums. Gotta love them.
So during Lunch today I went home and watched the latest episode of "The Office" (since I got it 'recorded'). The one where they imitate the Chris Rock sketch. FREAKING HILLARIOUS!!!! I was laughing to myself the rest of the day at work just thinking about it. I love that show.
Ok, so that's all for now...freaking gotta go work out now. Stupid gym getting all crowded now that it's getting hotter. Stay home you seasonal worker outers!!! Let us regulars get the machines and benches first!!! Oh yeah...and if you know who the Pixies and the Lemonheads are and like them...you're cool in my book. Such is the life of Joe...
Today was a Good DaySo if you'd ask me "hey, joe, how was class?"...I usually say, "blah". But today's class was soooooooooooooo awesome!!! Sure the lecutre was whatever, I made Danny laugh out loud that the teacher noticed. HA HA HA! Sorry Danny. But the best part was when one of our classmmates tells our professor that she has a present for her. This is the classmate that works for a birthing center and she handed her a red biohazard bag and immediately knew what it was...and my suspicions were correct when the professor put it on a disecting tray. It was a placenta...a human placenta. CRAZY! HUH?! Some people in class were kinda disgusted...but was like, "AWESOME!!!". So freaking awesome. Placenta, amniotic sack, and umbilical cord. Ok, maybe I thought it was awesome because I knew what it was and knew other things about it. But it was so cool. Our professor spent a good 20-30 minutes just talking about it. So awesome. Not only did was see a placenta, but we got to disect sheep brains, and our teacher also showed us a cow brain and cow eye. Kinda nasty that our professor didn't use gloves handling the cow stuff...BLECH! But the cow eye was pretty cool...not as cool as a placenta, but still pretty cool.
You know what's a cool commercial? The Macy's commercial where a woman comes back home and goes into her closet and takes off her shoes and puts it back into its shoebox...and then puts another mark on the box (i.e. III --> IIII), and the commercial says something like "real cost of shoes = amount paid / number of times worn". Pretty good, huh? Doesn't just apply to shoes though...applies to everything I think. Makes me feel a lot better on some of my purchases. HA HA HA!
Yeah, pretty good day today...and it's only Wednesday!!! WOW! Well, hopefully the rest of the week goes as good as this one. Such is the life of Joe...
Help Out A FriendThe funniest show on TV is "The Office" on NBC. Soooooooo great. I love how it follows "Scrubs" because that show is hillarious too. Best hour of comedy out there. You gotta watch it...freaking hillarious. HA HA HA! I'm laughing just thinking about it. White stupid boss dude, just So I've lost all my money in my Sportsbook account. Granted, it was only $10...but still...I don't have anything to bet with. I'll probably deposit another hundred or so....or maybe I should stop? NAHHHH!!!! Remember to buy Lotto tickets tomorrow...$60 million jackpot!
Ok, saw a friends photoalbum of his Nike's. And I have to say that Dunks are my favorite...along with SB's. And I think that Air Max '95s and '97s are freaking ugly...but that's my opinion.
Did anyone happen to watch "Access Hollywood" today??? They had a contest for Hottest Housewives and guess where the winners came from? That's right. TULARE! Can you believe that?!?! HA HA HA! It's so sad how they portrayed Tulare though...they made it seem like it was all farmland...but honestly, all the dairies are like 3-4 miles outside of the city (still Tulare, but 3-4 miles out). I think the there's some video of it on the Access Hollywood site.
Oh yeah...and finally. Help a friend out. No it's not donating money to help a girl get bigger boobs, and no it's not to stop someone from eating a cute pet bunny. It's something a lot more practical. It's to help a friend save up for a new Canon Digital SLR. So if you wanna help out...click on the following picture:
OK, that is all for now...Such is the life of Joe...
Time to Gamble!!!YAY! Lent is over!!! HOORAY! Now I can gamble!!! So I've played like 20 hands of Blackjack online so far (only $1 since I only have $5.72 in my account) and I'm back to $5.72. Which is pretty good I guess...better than losing money. At least no one won the California Super Lottery and now I can play that! It's up to like $60million, right? AWESOME! It was waiting for me to play! HA HA HA! So this weekend was a whole bunch of nada. Just watched a lot of TV. I got hooked on Law & Order SVU just because I saw a couple shows. Yeah, pretty good show...not a must see since they're all pretty much seperate story lines, but entertaining nonetheless. So yeah, I guess I take it back...that show is pretty good. Another show that's good is "Grey's Anatomy" on ABC on Sunday nights. I likes it.
So Easter was good. Mass was sooooo long. Yeah we knew it would be a little longer than normal since it was Easter, but 2 hours? WOW! I went to mass at St. John Fisher up in Palos Verdes and the reason it was so freaking long was because there was 4 baptisms that they did DURING mass, not AFTER mass, but DURING MASS! And I have to admit that St. John Fisher's youth mass is actually the only youth mass that I wouldn't mind going to. Just because they sing really well...since they hire professional singers. Yeah, that's what I said...freaking Palos Verdes.
So my lil neice is the cutest thing in the world. Too bad she's scared of me. HA HA HA! No, not just me...she's pretty much scared of everyone. She'll cry if you try to hold her if you aren't her mom, dad, or grandma. Soooooo cute anyways. Plus my cousin is pregnant again so hopefully the next one will like me more. HA HA HA!
Yeah, funny thing...I was talking to my cousin as she always asks what I'm up to. I told her I was taking classes and thinking of maybe doing pharmacy. She just goes..."oh"...then starts telling me that there are other things I could do. HA HA HA! Yeah, this is my cousin, my cousin the doctor, my cousin who thinks I can do better than that...the problem is...do I think I can? Yeah, thinking about things...stuff my cousin said, stuff on TV (Grey's Anatomy), and yeah...are those signs? Yeah, we all know how badly I can misread signs...or ignore them completely...but whatever.
Ok, until next time...such is the life of Joe...
Costa Rica PicturesBored...I'm the only one at work in my department. Yeah, bored. So what do I do when I'm the only one here? Go on the internet to entertain me. What should I look up this time? Well, since Costa Rica is only 2 months away I decided to take a look at strangers vacation pictures in Costa Rica...just to whet my appetite for Costa Rica. So here if my fellow travelers wanna check out some real vacation pictures of Costa Rica from complete strangers go to Imagestation ==> Community ==> Vactions ==> Central America ==> Costa Rica. Or you can just go here to my Link to Strangers vaction Pictures of Costa Rica. That is it...3 more days and I can gamble once again. YAHOO!!! Hope you all have a great Easter weekend!!! Such is the life of Joe...
Raugh Out Roud!!!Did anyone watch last night's South Park episode? I only caught the last part of it but I was laughing my ass off. Basically, this Chinese lady wanted to be on American Idol or something and she freaking sang horribly...ok, kinda funny...but at the end of the show they give a website for this person. She's a real person and she really sings that way!!! HA HA HA! I started laughing so freaking hard because of that! I totally thought they were singing bad on purpose, but no, it was someone who was actually trying to sing good!!! HA HA HA! You have to listen to how she sings...it's freaking hillarious!!! That's it for now...such is the life of Joe...
STUPID TAXES!!!Ok, anyone have HBO??? Anyone not doing anything on Saturday if you have HBO? Anyone who has HBO and isn't doing anything on Saturday care to invite a certain someone (::cough cough:: ME ::cough cough::) to watch the Morales vs. Pacquiao rebroadcast of their amazing fight??? Just let me know! Thanks!!! So my Dad calls me and tells me that he got our tax returns in. I'm all excited because I've been looking forward to it and thinking of what I'm going to buy with my tax return. If it's the same amount as last year, I could pay off my Costa Rica trip. So I ask Dad how much I get back...and get this...I OWE MONEY!!! DAMMMIT!!! I owe about $XXX.XX!!! Can you believe that?!?! I don't get it?!?! I haven't changed anything since last year. I mean, I do get paid more...but that shouldn't matter. As long as I claim what I've been claiming before, right? And I'm pretty sure that my taxes were done right since it was done by our accountant. So I don't get it. DAMMIT! DAMMIT!
Ok, that's all for now. Until next time...such is the life of Joe...
SOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT!Jessica Alba is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT!!! Her spread in GQ just made me want to cry because she's so hot. Oh I love her so...I love her that I'm going to watch "Sin City" and maybe "Fantastic Four" and ehhhhhh...we'll have to see about watching "Into The Blue". Speaking of Sin City...I just read Sin City: The Hard Goodbye and that book is so freaking good. I can't wait for the movie...it's supposed to be shot for shot with the comic book. It's so awesome watching the trailer after reading the book and recognizing exact scenes....I can't wait!!! So good though...I heard the movie is a combination of "The Hard Goodbye" and "That Yellow Bastard" so I haven't ruined the whole movie...unless I give in and buy "That Yellow Bastard" before next week.
Vanessa Minnillo is soooooooooooo hot too. Not as hot as Jessica...but still hot. Jessica Vanessa Carlos...I think that's what I'll name my daughter. People can make fun of her by calling her JVC like the electronics.
Good weekend. I took off early on Friday to go to the pub and hang out with some old friends at the Pub before it closes down. Good times just chilling and talking, reliving stories, etc. Good times...good times. Later that night we headed over to D&B's at the Block to surprise Jenn for her birthday. Good times once again just chilling with friends, playing the "Flaming Finger", hiding my "I like girls that Like girls" t-shirt from some mean looking girls, good times.
Oh yeah...don't fall asleep on us or else you'll get teabagged. Here's Jay learning his lesson:
Start of another work week plus I have classes again this week. BOOOOO!!!! I hate it!!! Such is the life of Joe...
MADNESSMARCH MADNESS BITCHES!!! Now I have something to watch when I go home for lunch. Did I tell you guys to bet on the 12-5 matchups? I TOLD YOU! Wisconsin-Milwaukee upset Alabama!!! they were +175...so I if I would've bet $5 on that game, I would've won $8.75!!! Ok,, doesn't sound great...but if I would've bet $100 I would've won $175...ok, not that great either. Odds on the 12/5 matchups aren't as great as they used to be. You wearing your green today? St. Patrick's Day. I've only seen me and Cat wear green at work today. You'd think more people would be wearing green. Oh well, whatever. So you what do you consider wearing green? I say that green has to be the prominent color in your article of clothing. Like you can't wear a black Lacoste polo shirt and say that you're wearing green just because the crocodile (not alligator) is green. Yeah, that's what I think.
So I'm thinking about just calling in sick and taking tomorrow completely off...I dunno, we'll see. And I'm itching to go shopping for some reason...hurry up March and end already so I can use my April paycheck to shop!!!
Short blog today...I wanna see if I can blog every day this work week. Almost complete!!! Such is the life of Joe...
Pee When You Have The ChanceMAN! Last night I almost relived my Ensenada experience in the bus. I had to take a piss soooooooooo badly!!! It was terrible! It wasn't as bad as Ensenada because there I had no control on when we'd stop and stuff. I had to take a piss when I was at the Mall but I figured I could make it back home...but then I went and got gas and got a carwash. I had to go soooooooooo badly!!! What made it bad, was that I had control to pull over and take a piss which made me want to go even more!!! I seriously was considering pulling over and pissing behind a tree on Yale HA HA HA!!! Good times. So I went to a drive thru car wash to wash my car (finally after like 5 months). But guess what's still on my car? Yup, that stupid "MO" is still there I guess I gotta actually use some elbow grease and rub it off.
Met up with Theda last night at Mission Viejo Mall. MAN! I did a little window shopping (yes, just window shopping because I'm not gonna buy anything until April). Made mental notes of stuff I want. Kicked it with Theda and her friend Annabelle. And enjoyed pictures and stories from Theda's Ghana trip. WOW! She was on 3 different continents in a day (North America, Europe, Africa). That's just crazy to me.
You know what I can't stand? I can't stand people "poppin their collars". I CAN'T STAND IT! Popping your collars on your polo shirts...ahhhh!!! Do you think you look cool? Honestly, 10 years from now you'll look back at pictures of yourself and laugh.
Counting down to the weekend as usual. ::cough cough:: I might not be feeling so well on Friday, might have to take half a day ::cough cough::. Such is the life of Joe...
Ninong? What's That?So I got a text from my Dad last night which was a forward of a text that he got from the Philippines. Basically it said that "Bea's christening will be April 10th and kuya Joseph po is one of her ninongs". Ok, so first thing that comes to mind is "Who's Bea?", followed by "Who had a baby?", followed by..."Who's Joseph Po?" and finally "What's a ninong?". HA HA HA! Ok, I'm not THAT whitewashed!!! I know that 'ninong' means 'Godfather'...and po's a term of respect. But the sad thing is that I didn't know who Bea was and who had a baby. I suspected that it was my cousin Bibeth who just got married last year in May. I really don't keep in touch with my cousin's on my Dad's side since they're all in the PI (or most of them). Sad, huh? So I called up Dad today and confirmed that Bibeth had a baby girl named Bea and I'm one of the Ninongs (along with both her brothers and another cousin). I can't make it to the PI to celebrate, but as long as I send my thoughts...and some money too, right? HA HA HA! OH MAN I WISH I COULD GAMBLE!!! I'D MAKE SO MUCH FREAKING MONEY!!! I just took a look at the odds on the games on Thursday and there's some sure winners in there! Illinois winning by 26? NO WAY! Yeah, they'll win, and win easily...but by 26 points? I don't think so (but don't trust me since I haven't been keeping up on basketball at all). Same thing for the Duke game. I know they'll win easily...but not by 26. I dunno....we'll see. I WISH I COULD BET!!!
Funny playlist that I'm listening to: some Atreyu and FATA (From Autumn To Ashes) mixed in with the new Jack Johnson, mixed in with Q-Tip's "Kamaal The Abstract" (unreleased...was supposed to come out in 2002 but never did). I really like the Atreyu album...sgret. Nothing like screaming to put you to sleep.
Weather's warming up, which means cigar smoking will commence once again. Not just because it's getting warm, but I just wanna get rid of the freaking 50 or so cigars that I have there. HA HA HA. I need to light up my hookah too...which begs the question...if i brought a hookah to a public place (like say, a pub) would it be illegal? Hmmmm....
So this Friday should be fun. Gonna try to take half a day and kick it with friends at the Pub on UCI. THey're closing down soon and we just wanna relive some memories there. It'll be good times kicking it with friends, talking, and reliving meories over a pitcher (or two, or three, or seven) of beer. That's what I'm looking forward to this week.
St. Patrick's Day is on Thursday...anything going on? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Let us know. If nothing's going on might as well call out the Pub again, but we'll see...Such is the life of Joe...
No more shopping this monthSo my test on Wednesday wasn't bad at all. I actually thought it was pretty easy. We'll see how I did next week. No class this week though, why? Because it's SPRING BREAK!!! WOOOOOOO!!!! Ummm...yeah, too bad I have freaking work, then it'd be awesome. Did anyone watch the trailer to Star Wars: ROTS??? (that's Revenge of the Sith for those not in the know). SOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome!!! I think my obsession with Star Wars is gonna start again. April 2nd is when the toys come out...not that I checked online or anything...not that I'm planning to buy some or anything.
So how was my Friday night? It was good...I stayed up until 3-4am just rearranging my comics and seperating them into "keep" and "sell" piles and further more into Spider-Man titles, Random Marvel, X-Men Titles, Random Mutant Titles, Image/Independent, and 2 sell boxes. Plus I have 2 short boxes at home home in Tulare that I need to bring back up. Yeah, I have 9 short boxes of comics. About 1200 comics. If you average the cost to about $2 per comic to buy them...yeah, I've spent a lot on comics.
Wizardworld Los Angeles (actually Long Beach) is this weekend. I was thinking of going just to get some books CGC'd, but the prices for on site CGC'ing is ridiculous. Yeah, I know some of you think CGC is the devil and that comics should be read not collected...but I read my comics...and then hope to sell them for a profit later on. I've sold a comic that I've bought for $3, then had CGC'd for $15 (so $18 total) for $150. That was great!!!
March Madness is gonna start on Thursday. DAMMIT! I'm fillling out a bracket just to see how much money I'd win IF I could bet. 12/5 matchups? What do you think about New Mexico over Villanova and Old Dominion over Michigan St? I don't think the other 12/5 matchups will upset though. But then again I haven't been watching College BB lately since I have no insentive to bet on games. Let's go UCI! What? We're not in it? Never mind...
Saturday was fun at Rockin Taco to celebrate Jean's birthday. Piano Bar where singing, drianking, and having Jean dance on top of the piano. Good times. Quote of the night goes to Lusty "I don't know white people music". HA HA HA! How do you not know "Tiny Dancer", some Lynard Skynard, "Pour Some Sugar On Me", "Living On A Prayer", Journey songs, CCR, and other songs? COME ON! Classics!!! People were surprised since I knew almost all the songs that they were playing. Either that means I'm old (since they were old 'white people' music) or have diverse musical tastes...I hope it's the latter.
Beginning of a new week. No school this week...so it shouldn't be so bad...too bad there's this thing called work. BOOOOO. Such is the life of Joe...
13 YearsWow, so it's been 13 years. 13 years since I was sitting Mr. Scherr's class just working away waiting for lunch. 13 years since I see my Dad walk in the classroom and I immediately knew what happened. Yeah, I was prepared, she prepared us, she told us, which was probably one of the hardest things that I've had to hear, and I know one of the hardest things that she's had to say. So I knew what was coming, but how can you really prepare yourself for something like that? So it's been almost half my life. 13 years is a long time...I've grown and changed. I'm no longer that timid 14 year old boy, now I'm a twenty something year old man enjoying life. But then again I can say that 13 years isn't long at all. Yeah, it still hurts as much when I think about her. And missing her hasn't gone away (of course it'll never go away). And there's always those thoughts of how my life would be different. I don't know what my reaction is....is it WOW it's only been 13 years, or WOW it's already been 13 years...
I take solace in knowing that she's in a better place, that she's always with me, she's helping me get through some of my hard times, and is always there whenever I need her. And I hope that she's laughing and just enjoying watching me grow up, and be my silly self.
I miss you Mom, I love you...Such is the life of Joe...
STUPID INTERNET!!!Damn, the weekend is over already? It feels like I barely studied...which is true. Friday night was supposed to be study session for me but instead i went over to Jon and Sherwin's because Cici and Jay were over there. So I brought my stuff to study but I really didn't get anything done. You wanna know what we were doing? THIS: Saturday I woke up at what I thought was 11:00 but was actually 1:00. HA HA HA! I then went to Cerritos to study with Belle and Tinz. WOW! The Cerritos library is CRAZY! First time I've been there. Belle and I continued our studying (although for the first 30 minutes we were looking through books on Costa Rica) at Borders until Belle left me and I studied by my lonesome. WOW...I actually got a lot done...UNTIL I went back home.
What's the different between studying at home and studying at the library or Barnes or Borders? NO INTERNET! I swear, I got home and I would take a break every 10 minutes to do 2 hours of surfing the web...then 10 minutes of studying...2 hours of surfing the web. CRAZY!!! STUPID INTERNET! I love you so....
Good job to all the Marathon Runners out there. GOOD JOB BELLE!!! GOOD JOB JOVAN!!! And to all the bike riders out there...GOOD JOB FANTONE!!! GOOD JOB TIN TIN!!! anyone else? I know some of you were talking about running/biking but I don't know if you actually did it. Anyways. GREAT JOB GUYS!!! You've run and biked more than I have all last year, and the year before that, and the year before that... So I've been starting to listen to regular "punk" (I put that into quotes because that word has lost all meaning...it can mean a variety of genres now) stuff again. New and old Rancid, Bouncing Souls, and Social Distortion. I just have to say that the new Social Distortion album is AWESOME!!! SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!
I'm a little into the comic game again. I'm after Wednesday and my tests are all finsihed I think I'm going to put a lot of my crap comics on eBay to sell. Just to get rid of all the crap I've collected and also to get a little money in my pocket. Sure I'll be selling them at a loss but whatever...they aren't gonna increase in value any time soon. Although I do have a couple graded comics that can get me top dollar if I do sell them...those ones I'll keep.
That's basically what I did this weekend. I freaking went online to see what I could get for some of my comics I have. I should've been studying, but I wasn't. Getting back in the comic game also freaking peaked my interest in catching up on some stories. I need to catch up and read all of "Identity Crisis" and then I can read "Green Lantern: Rebirth" (which is the hot comic out now) which will prepare me for "Countdown" which starts at the end of this month. Ok...I've lost everyone...Jevon and Berto you still there? Who do you think's gonna die in "Countdown"???? Yeah, I'm a Marvel guy but lately DC has been putting out a lot of great stuff.
This is me taking another 2 hour break from studying. Why am I not worried about this test? I dont' know. I haven't even started studying for the one on Wednesday...that's the one I should really be worried about. Well, I can't wait until Wednesday after my test. SPRING BREAK!!! (except I have work....BLAH!!!) Such is the life of Joe...
OBSESSIONOh how I love LOST. It's the greatest show on TV. It's the only show that I HAVE to watch. I LOVE IT!!! It just gets better and better every week. Ok, there's a certain somebody who's a bad influence because one day I was trying to study and I get a IM on my phone and so I start to watch OTH. Good thing I did because it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. It was one of those shows where you're going "OHHHH!!!" every 10 minutes or so. It was sooooooooooo good, that I knew OTH was going on hiatus...no new episodes until sometime in April!!! BOOOO!!!
So I almost got swept up on the whole Nike shoe collecting thing. I have to admit that IF I do get into it, I think I'll only start collecting the Pink Box Nike's. And yes, collecting = not wearing. It's a good thing that I don't get into it because I'm really an obsessive collector. I forgot to mention that I once spent $100 on Star Wars toys in a day....and what're they doing? they're in a box somewhere in my closet...worth probably $20. HA HA HA! Yeah, that's me and my obsessions...you don't want me to start a Nike obsession.
So my lil sis is off to Ghana today for 8 days or so. She's going there for clinicals for school. WOW! Ghana!!! Africa!!! That's crazy!!! Yeah, I know it's not gonna be out in the jungle with elephants, giraffes, and lions roaming around...but still...AFRICA. That's so crazy. It's awesome, but crazy. Have a great trip, have fun, and be safe!!!
School sucks, annoying girl in my group was at it again. Every time she said something me and Danny would look at each other and just shake our heads. It was that bad. You're telling us this and you got what on your tests? And Danny and I got what? Yeah, shut up...be quiet, study hard to get your B.
So what am I doing now? I'm blogging. What should I be doing? I should be studying...I don't feel like it though. I just can't wait until after Wednesday of next week when my tests will be over so I can chill.
3 more months until COSTA RICA! I'm soooo excited. I was looking up the hotels that we're staying at, they all look great...ESPECIALLY the last 2!!! I know, pictures can be decieving and we're probably staying in the lowest rooms, but still! It's gonna be great!!!! TRYP COROBICI MAWAMBA LODGE TABACON LODGE (looks soooooooooooooo nice, HOT SPRINGS!!!) HOTEL PARADOR (loooks niiiiiiiiiiice too!!!) I know you guys are jealous...wanna come? Let me know!
Ok, that's it for this week. Tomorrow is Friday!!! WOO HOO!!! Have fun everyone! Bet on these numbers 3, 5, 13, 15, 17, 22, 24, 32, 34, 36 if any of them are showing up consistently on the board. You can thank me later. HA! Such is the life of Joe...
Rich Coast!!!So I've decided to go on vacation this year. And the winning location is.... COSTA RICA!!! WOOO HOOO!!! Who wants to go?!?! I have to admit I was just a little ehhhhhh about it (money being the main factor)...but now I'm sooooooooooooooo excited. I know if I let this opportunity pass me up I'd really regret it. How many times does this opportunity arise (ok, I bet you it'll come up a couple more times after we get back and ya'll see what an awesome time we had). I promised myself I would take a trip/vaction and use my passport at least once a year. This year it's gonna be for Costa Rica...next year??? Australia? New Zealand? Europe? Philippines and Japan (that sounds dope)? But don't think I'm finished with this year...I still might go to Hawaii sometime this summer. And I'm not counting out any other trips this year... Why Costa Rica? Why not? I've heard that it's a great place to go. You have tropical jungles plus white sand beaches. That's all I need to know to get me to say yes to a vacation destination. I just gotta brush up on some Spanish now. Surfing, white water rafting (if I decide to do that), going on the rainforest canopy tour...sounds great! K, gotta start being tighter with my money...man, if I hadn't have joined Sportsbook.com, I could easily pay for this trip AND get my IPOD. Now I just need to budget my money. No Nike's, No shopping, try selling more stuff on eBay (I made $50 last week selling junk), eat at home more often...but I still need that IPOD before I go to Costa Rica, it'll entertain me and also store all my excess pictures I'm hoping to take.
Ok, so what did I do yesterday since I didn't study? I basically just read one chapter!!! Can you believe that?! Why? Because I was doing all this other stuff...cooking dinner, then I started watching a little bit of "My Sassy Girl" again, then when I finally started to study I decided to clean this one area where I could actually study at. HELP! Why don't I like studying?! My tests are next week!
That is all for today. Waiting for the weekend once again. What to do, what to do...I know...STUDY! Such is the life of Joe..
