Halloween???
  Dude, work kicked my ass these past couple days. Friday I stayed at work until 9pm!!! DAMN! I just went home and just chilled for the night since I had to go into work early the next day. So on Saturday I went to work at 6:30am and stayed there until freaking 8:30pm!!! DAMN! That's like a 14 hour day!!! Good thing I brought my laptop with me because I could watch movies, play mp3's, and chat with friends. It wasn't so bad...except that it was.
  Yeah, I needed to just chill and relax after that long ass day at work. I missed out on plans to hang out with some friends who went to dinner since I was freaking working. I did get to kick it at Chris' w/ Iya, Jay, and Cici. It was very good times just having Cici mix us drinks and just drinking up. Mmmmm...Coke and Stoli Vanil, Sex on the Beach, Chocolate Cake shots, and Kamikaze shots....awesome job Cici!!! Chocolate cake shots are pretty damn good....and sex on the beach...you can't taste the alcohol even though the cup was half filled with it!!! Awesome! That's probably why I was kinda feeling it last night...and woke up with a little headache today.
  Good job being bartender...yet boo for scaring me multiple times. Freaking Cici pulled her hair over her face and started making that "ahhhhhh" noise from "The Grudge" not cool, scared the hell out of me. Later on she also freaking scared me by putting on a freaking blanket over her head and did the same thing. Dammit!!!
  I just have to apologize to Tin Tin...sorry I didn't make it out to your birthday dinner and bowling afterwards. I was freaking working until 8:30 and I just wanted to chill and relax. I'm truly sorry....I hope you had a great time!!! Did ya win in bowling???
  Dude, why does it feel sooooooo much later than it really is. Like when it was 7:30pm it honestly felt like it was 10pm. Dude, is it the time change? It might be because I'm still so tired from last night and have that headache and slept most of the day. So Halloween...doesn't really feel like Halloween at all. I mean, I don't think that there's anything going on...I think everyone is too lazy to do something and also since tomorrow is Monday you can't really do anything or stay out too late. Yeah, so my Halloween was spent watching "Ringu" and "Ju-On" on my computer.
  So I hope you all had a great Halloween. What did you dress up as??? Me...I did have a laptop, a blanket, in my PJ's, and watched TV, but I was sitting on my bed instead of the couch. HA!
  Ok, tomorrow is Monday...I'll probably go...but I honeslty should take it off...or Friday off since I worked so much this weekend. Such is the life of Joe...

Working Weekends
  Yup...I'm probably going to be freaking working late tonight (maybe until 10 or so...or until I get tired). I'll be working on Saturday probably early to late again...and then Sunday again! DAMMIT!!! That's what I get when a client needs their stuff by today...and I totally forgot to start it last week. Oh well...I'll still try to find some time to get out and have fun. Although I can't go to the casino tonight...sorry Jay...I honestly was gonna go...but stupid work. Such is the life of Joe...

Dell Inspiron
  So I'm writing this post on my new Dell Inspiron 8600 while sitting on my bed and watching TV 4 feet away from my old desktop. Sgreat!!! I love it! I love just sitting here and typing away (no I don't have my PJ's on or a blanket on...HA HA HA) and all the freedom that I have (namely taking it downstairs or taking it into the bathroom when I take a dump). I love it! It's great!!! YAHOO! I just need to figure out how come it won't let me connect to my home network.
  I got my laptop at noon yesterday but I didn't open it until maybe 10 o'clock at night. I was debating all that time whether I should sell it on eBay or keep it. I could've probably made $150-$200 profit if I sold it (well, minus all the eBay/paypal fees). But I ultimately decided that I should keep it...and I'm glad that I did. YAHOO!!!
  I was playing with my laptop until 4 am and I didn't get to work until freaking noon!!! HA HA HA! So I stayed at work until freaking 7pm...but you know what? it wasn't that bad because I was really surprised when I checked the clock and it was past 6pm. Hmmmmmm...maybe I should start work at 10-11 from now on....
  Dude, there was something I wanted to blog about but I totally forgot...well, I guess this stupid post will have to do for ya'll. 2 more days until the weekend! WOO HOO!!! Gotta love those weekends. Such is the life of Joe...

  Oktoberfest with Joseph John, Riann, and Randy was grandiose....I remember why I can't handle beer anymore...it freaking gets me sooooooooo full. I only had 2 32 ounce STEINS! wussy compared to Joe's coworker who was on #5 and probably could've kept on going. Sgood seeing those guys...I haven't seen them in a long ass time and by the way....Joe J is MO!!!
  Fun filled Saturday was just that...fun filled. Chris, Jevon, Jay, Cici, Belle, Lou, Jon, Tommy, Tinz, Ronnie, John John, and me eating at Roscoes is always delicious...even if they did freaking raise their prices!!! Going to see the Body Worlds Exhibit (minus John John but with Jos) was interesting and I seriously loved it because I was trying to connect what I learned at UCI and all my Bio classes to what i was seeing (i know...GEEK!)...but it was coooooooool.
  Later on I went to watch "The Grudge" with Anna and her sis/cousins, Anne, Ryan, Jasmine Trias, Jay Cici, Chris, Iya, Rochelle, and Matt. I HATE scary movies....if you ever see me watching a scary movie at home...I freaking SREEEEEEEAM when I KNOW a scary part is coming. Like right when the scary music starts I start screaming so it won't be as scary to me...but when I watch it in theaters, I can't do that. Instead I scrouch down in my seat, hit people next to me, move my legs, hold my breath, and watch through my fingers. Good movie...even though I thought "The Ring" was scarier, but then again, I was watching most of the movie between my fingers. Yeah, I wasn't scared though...I just screamed out once, or twice...that's it.
  It was great seeing friends I haven't seen in a long time. HA HA HA! I miss those guys. Stupid things we do to entertain us while waiting in line "Heppy...sed....heppy....sed" HA HA HA! Hillarious! "You know those big tall condos, they're green, right by the water?? yeah...she lives across the street from them". HA HA HA!!! FREAKING HILLARIOUS!!! Joe...last name "Mama" HA HA HA! Miss those guys. Can't wait for Vegas.
  I guess the weekend caught up to me tonight because I basically slept the whole freaking day. At least the Red Sox won! WOOOOO!!!! 5 more days...until the weekend....such is the life of Joe...

I Hate the Yankees
  First of all, Happy Birthday Tin Tin!!!. I know I posted this a little late, but I hope you had a great 21st *wink wink* birthday!
  St. Louis Cardinals vs. Boston Red Sox in the World Series...looks to be like an exciting one. I'm just happy that the Yankee's aren't in it. Yeah yeah yeah, I'm one of the many many many Yankee haters....and some people accused me of hating them just because they're good. NO! I Love the Lakers and they're good...I love the A's and they're good. I hate the Yankees NOT because they're good, but because THEY BUY THEIR TALENT! They let other teams develop great players and when their contract is over just BUY THEM!!! Freaking Giambi, freaking ARod, freaking many others....THAT'S why I hate the Yankees.
  "Life As We Know It" on Thursdays at 9pm on ABC. Another one of my must see shows. It's another teen show a la "My So Called Life" but not as depressing or "Freeks and Geeks" although the stars of the show are neither FREEKS nor GEEKS. Just another teen drama....check it out...you might like it.
  Finally, the weekend comes tomorrow. I love it. Decisions decisions....casino or Oktoberfest on Friday (or both???!!!!) and then super fun filled SATURDAY!!! I can't wait!!! Such is the life of Joe...

Dare Night
  Cassie Steele? I really don't see what's so special about her. She's this actress on "Degrassi High: The Next Generation" on The Noggin. Danielle's in love with her, I think she assumes that I'd like her just because she's like 15, and she's half Filipino. No...just because a girl is under age doesn't mean she'll make my "list". NO! I'm not like that!!! DAMN THIS REPUTATION!!!
  Tonight's episode of "One Tree Hill" is freaking hillarious and probably my favorite one yet. Oh yeah, and I soooooooo called it!!! Highlight the next part if you wanna see SPOILERS Random girl named Ana is Felix's sister...I called it!!! I'm so good. So yeah, watching this episode just made me want to have a "dare night". A night where we just do dares. Rachele said Vegas....and her dare is to do her TDB lil sis dance in Vegas w/ her sweatshirt on. YEAH! AWESOME...dare night!
  Laguna Beach was a booooo tonight. The previews looked like it was gonna be soooooooo drama...but when it finally aired it was nothing. BOOOO!!! I still love that show though...and LC is DA BOMB!!! FORGET KRISTEN!!!
  The Red Sox vs. Yankees game was so freaking good tonight. I can't wait for the game tomorrow. It's gonna be so good. Hopefully the Red Sox can pull it off!!! COME ON RED SOX! Who's watching the game where? Let's go!
  So I bought a new Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop today. Why? Well, because today they had a special $750 off!!! AWESOME!!! So I got a $1600 computer for $900!!! AWESOME!!! I love it...i can't wait until it arrives!!! YAHOO!!! eBay or keep it? Hmmm.....
  Hump day...and it's going to be a lazy week for me w/ no working out. Stupid weather giving me an excuse to stay in and watch TV. But at least now I have something to look forward to during the weekend! YAHOO!!! I can't wait!!! Such is the life of Joe...

  You know what I have to learn? I have to learn to NOT bet on the strength of my chips, I need to instead bet on possible hands that might beat me. I mean, I keep going all in on pretty good hands..but I always get beat with the kicker. DAMMIT! Learn that lesson dammit!!! I'm sure there could be an analogy to life in that...but I'm too lazy to think about it.

  Saturday night was what I really needed. Just to go out and have fun with friends to celebrate Theda's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY THEDA!!!! Call this girl up and wish her a happy birthday today (the 17th). See! I'm not such a bad big bro!!! So her birthday was fun times at Bamboo Terrace in Costa Mesa. Good times with good friends....and that's all I need to be happy. I haven't hung out with these people in a while and I missed them. Plus you can't pass up $3 Jack and cokes all night long!!! YEAH! 7 drinks that night and I was driving!!! HA HA HA! But you know what? I think those drinks were watered down because I sobered up right quick in like less than an hour. Left early because we got there early, got some Alberto's and headed back to our place and kicked it with everyone for a while. Thanks guys...it was fun!
  So i calculated it out and since I REALLY started playing poker (I don't count those days way back when I played at Jovan's or Ed's b/c I didnt' really know what I was doing) I'm up $485.00 playing poker....if you DO include those days then I'm probably up only $430 or so...which is still pretty damn good. I love poker...one big win is all you need to fund your weekly poker habits for a while.
  Freaking Exorcist II was on TV late one night. Just the freaking title and music scared the hell out of me. I will not EVER watch ANY Exorcist movie. Why? Because if it's a horror movie that deals with religion and has all this religious symbols in it...it freaks me out! It freaks me out because I believe in that crap! No way am I going to watch those movies...no WAY am I going to play or even be in the same room that a Oujia Board is in. NO WAY!

Last Stage
  So I realized that I've been kinda selfish lately. Just thinking about myself and that's probably why I was so angry a week ago. So I stopped thinking about myself and thought about what other people are going through. And that put everything in perspective...my troubles are insignificant compared to what some others might be going through. So that got me through the anger and on my way to acceptance. I mean, I don't understand it at all...but it's not for me to understand, it's for me to accept. And I'm starting to...
  Oh how I LOVE LOST!!!! Thank you to everyone who recommended that show to me! I finished downloading all 3 episodes that that's basically all that I did this weekend. Just watch LOST and do some laundry. But yeah, Lost is soooooooooooo good. I really hope that the stupid presidential debates in Wednesday don't stop Lost from being on TV. Smallville, shmallville...it's all about Lost. Soooo freaking good.
  So, this weekend wasn't just spent watching TV and playing online poker. It was spent also watching "Reality Bites". Wow...I haven't watched that movie in a long time. Such a great movie. That was back in the day when our generation was called "slackers". When we didn't want to do anything but just lay around the house and not work. I totally can relate. HA HA HA! I love Winona Ryder and also Janeane Garafalo...yes, Janeane Garafalo...there's something about her that's attractive. I think it's her sarcastic wit. "Can you define 'Irony'".....
  Today was a good day actually, what would normally be a boring day cooped up in the house, turned out to be a boring day spent outside. After church, I decided to spend the rest of the day reading instead of in front of my computer or TV. So I walked over to the Albertson's plaza next to my house because they have a very nice sitting/eating area outside, sat down, lit a cigar, and read "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay". It was such a nice day outside to waste it inside. It was nice...actually doing something for a change.
  Oh yeah..notice anything different? Yeah, I was bored and so I decided to do a little change to the layout. Not much of a change...but it's a change...after all...it is fall, the season for change. Such is the life of Joe...

  So did I tell you guys that I'm back full time at my old job? Same company, different department. So I'm not sitting next to Danielle all day. She actually came and stopped by my section and talked for a little bit. You know what? I kinda miss her (i know i know...sappy sappy) but I miss just having someone to talk whenever random thoughts jump into my head. I mean, it's not like I don't see her...but it kinda is....no opportunity to just chill and talk. Oh well, thanks for stopping by and chatting for a while.
  You know what's awesome??? Go to Telemundo and you'll see TV shows with HOT ASS LATINA CHICKS!!! The only problem is that you can't understand them at all. I HAVE DISCOVERED THE GREATEST THING EVER!!! Go to Telemundo and put on the Closed Captioning....it translates everything!!! SOOOOO AWESOME! I love it! I can watch hot chicks AND understand them!!! Plus maybe learn some spanish!!! AWESOME! (Please tell me I'm not the last person to find this out).

  I really don't have anything to blog about today. Really...nothing. I can't think of anything I really wanna say. Oh well.
  So I've had 2 people tell me to watch "Lost" today and so I stopped watching "Smallville" and changed to channel 7 to watch "Lost" and all I have to say is thank you Jevon and Theda for recommending that show. It's really good. I like it a lot. Too bad I freaking missed the last 2 episodes!!! DAMMIT! Ok, next wednesday at 8, Lost it is.

  I really love my friends. I really do. I don't love love them...that would just wreck our friendships (HA HA HA you have to laugh at that...because I'm totally joking) but I love them as friends. I need friends to vent to, to make sense of confusing stuff, just to talk to and hear a friendly voice, just to know that at least some people care. Sgood. I'm good really...I'm good because of my friends. Thanks to you who allow me to vent, talk, or just chat online...any little bit helps..you know who you are.
  Poker Tourney this past Saturday. I wasn't feeling it at all. I told eveyrone I wasn't feeling it...I just wanted it to be over with. But I did really well. I think I found solace on the fact that my mind was preoccupied with playing poker instead of other stupid thoughts on my mind. So I played my game...and stayed in it...and did pretty good. I love poker.
  You know what I love about Poker??? The fact that when I'm playing I don't think about anything but poker...that it freaking keeps my mind busy and I don't have to think about all the other stupid stuff that goes through my mind when I'm not playing poker. Playing poker gives me something to do and something to concentrate on. You gotta think if you wanna play your cards, if you wanna bet, if the other guy has the cards, etc. Nothing else enters your mind...none of those stupid thoughts from the outside world enter. It's peaceful...in it's own way.
  That's the thing about working at a job that really doesn't require any thinking at all....your mind is free to wander. Stupid overactive mind...it sometimes seems like I full on daydream when I'm working, just like J.D. in Scrubs. Like I'm playing poker hands in my mind, or singing different TV show themes in my head. It's just my mind gets bored.
  Ok, here's a TV theme song...anyone know it? "Now the world don't move to the beat of just one drum....". Name that tune!!!
  New week...that means 5 more days to daydream until the weekend. Good advice for the day: "every second you're wondering why...is a second you're taking away from helping YOURSELF get through this now". Such is the life of Joe...

  So I've been listening to KDAY 93.5 fm on the radio lately. What is it? Well, it's an all hip-hop/rap station "Hip Hop today and back in the day"...I guess it's good...kinda sounds like Power 106 or The Beat to me, but they do play more old school stuff. So check it out if you like.
  Oh yeah, I watched an interesting show on MTV a couple days ago. It's called "Veronica Mars" and it's usually on UPN but for some reason it was on MTV. It's pretty interesting...not as great as say...LAGUNA BEACH..but different. It's like a murder mystery with a teenage girl as the protagonist. Too bad that it's on TUesdays at 9. That conflicts with OTH and Scrubs.
  Weekend is here...nothing to do but my poker tourney tomorrow. Wish me luck...I hope I win! Or at least make some money!!! I'm a little nervous because I haven't been playing that great lately. Such is the life of Joe...
