Just Kidding
Remember that one post a while ago when I was stressed out at work and I was hoping for a natural disaster like an earthquake to occur so I wouldn't have to go to work? Ok, I was just kidding. After the earthquake yesterday in Parkfield and the one today in Arvin (near Bakersfield) it seems like it's getting closer to the So. Cal area...I was just kidding. Actually, what i meant was that I wished there was a power outage, just at my building....no one gets hurt, nothing gets damaged...I just don't have to work. So I was kidding about hoping for an earthquake...really.
So I watched "Mean Girls" today. It's pretty funny...that one part at the end freaking scared the hell out of me even though I knew it was gonna happen. I mean, they foreshadowed it in the beginning of the movie. HA HA HA. But yeah, that Lindsay Lohan....she's really matured and filled out. MAN those are big! Pretty funny movie though....not hillarious, just funny. Now I gotta watch "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". I'll do that tomorrow instead of work out. HA HA HA! I'm lezy.
So yesterday I watched "LAGUNA BEACH" on MTV. Who loves that show? Who loves that show? *wink wink* Dude, I love that show! Stephen should totally get with LC and not Kristin...that's just my opinion. I love that show so much because the girls there are such biatches! I LOVE IT! They had a "black and white" party where everyone had to wear black or white and Kristin was the only girl that was wearing white. One girl goes "Kristin is the only girl wearing white, how ironic" HA HA HA! I LOVE IT! Another girl goes "i wanted a white dress but i couldn't find one that wasn't skanky looking". HA HA HA! I love this show so much just becuase the girls are so mean to each other....well, at least so mean to Kristin.
Ok, hope everyone is having a great week. Almost the weekend...hooray! Such is the life of Joe...

That's it for now....just practicing online for the big poker tourney on Saturday. Gotta do good or else i"m finished for a while...such is the life of Joe...

SERENA!!! HEY! GET OVER HERE!!!
Back from San Jose, it was a much needed break from work and a great "vacation" up to the Bay Area. First off, I gotta say a very Happy Birthday to one of my dearest friends, Serena. Happy birthday and thanks for everything!!! This girl can freaking hold her liquor like no other. I lost count of how many drinks she took, but she still looked sober by the end of the night! CRAZY! Thanks for not being hung over the next day and sleeping in bed the whole day like last year. HA HA HA. You know I'm just giving you a hard time, and you know I was just joking around this whole weekend giving you a hard time about the not having internet or a TV at your place, that's what I do...I know you miss it. Love the new condo...you just need to freaking get some internet and a TV in there and you'll all be set! Awesome!
This weekend was grandiose...celebrated Serena's birthday in Santana Row at Rosie Mc'something. Santana Row is a really nice area...I kinda wanted to check it out and walk around, but we can always do that some other time. Went to San Francisco on Saturday and just went around which was really nice, but you really need more than a day to explore San Francisco. It was just a great time hanging out with Serena, Rita, Shawn, and Ana and all the other San Jo people. Good times...made me wish that we all lived together again.
Just driving around San Francisco, kinda made me just want to move to a city now. I was talking to Serena and she asked me if I would ever live in a big city. I honestly thought that I was a suburb, small town, kinda guy. But maybe living in a suburb/small town all of my life has just gotten old. I liked San Francisco and other cities where excitement is just out the door. I like the fact that if you lived in a city like San Francisco or Pasadena or something, that you'd never get bored. That you can just go outside to the local cafe on the corner, or chill at the local park, or go to the book store and just people watch. Just watch life pass you by instead of having it pass you by without even knowing it. So yeah, I think I could live in a big city or in a downtown.
Ok, so I got one more person to sign up for the free IPOD thingie. I just need 2 more people. Someone? Anyone? Please!!! Come on! It's free!!! Free IPODs. Thank you to Mr. Jon Nathan for being the first to sign up and thank you to the other 2 people (who used their spam e-mails i'm assuming or else are complete strangers who visited my site b/c I don't recognize their e-mails at all) who signed up also.
Such a great weekend, and everything is good. The stress of work has been forgotten. Ok, freaking A, I just realized that tomorrow is Monday! I hate Monday's. Tomorrow is gonna suck...I can just tell. Counting down for the weekend....such is the life of Joe...

Do You know the way to San Jose?
Off to San Jose for the weekend. YAY! Gotta say...HAPPY BIRTHDAY SERENA!!!!. I'm going there for my yearly trip to visit. HA HA HA. It'll be fun, the only thing I'm dreading is the drive, too freaking long.
Everyone see that link on the top of my page for a FREE IPOD??? Anyone, anyone wanna help me out and click on it and register for a deal (hopefully the IFONE thing is there, if not you can just wait a couple days for it to show up....or you can try something else). Just remember, use your spam e-mail (the e-mail address you use that gets all the spam mail) because they'll probably spam your mailbox to death. I just need 3 more people to comlete a deal for me to get an IPOD!!!
Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend. Happy Birthday to Annie and Will...sorry I can't make it. Such is the life of Joe...

Dude, Yellowcard is playing at Bren Events Center in Irvine on Nov. 27th. Anyone going??? If you are call me up because I want to go too!!! Yeah yeah yeah...I'll be twice as old as everyone there but who cares. I haven't been to a concert in years...and this is in Irvine! So yeah...anyone going please call me or pick up a ticket for me since I'll be driving to San Jose when the tickets go on sale and I'm sure they'll sell out. Thanks! Such is the life of Joe...
Never mind...I think that Thanksgiving weekend. I dont' like to plan things during holiday weekends in case I'm not in town. Such is the life of Joe...

GRABE!!!
GRABE HOT!!!! It's FREAKING HOT!!! It's Fall already but it seems like it's hotter now than it ever was during the summer!!! MAN!!! I hate it! I mean, if i was at the beach or something then it'd be cool (cool meaning alright not cool meaning temperature), but working and just being a regular day? sucks! I look forward to Fall...and all the changes that come with it. The changing leaves, the cooler weather (which I LOOOOOOOVE), just being able to chill outside with a jacket on and the crisp air....ahhhhhh...so nice.
GRABE STRESS!!! So I thought going back to my old job would be easy...I'm basically the boss and so I can just leave whenever I want...but TODAY IS PISSING ME OFF!!! They want this done, and that done, and this done and all by the end of the week. Yeah, too bad that I'm taking Friday off....they don't know that yet, but yeah, I'm taking it off, I think i deserve it. But damn! I didn't know how freaking behind they were and it's kicking my ass because I have to deal with it! MAN! So I think imma be working some long ass hours today and tomorrow just so I can get Friday off. Dude, pissing me off and I just need to vent right now....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! So much better now...thanks for listening.
GRABE STAR WARS! I went to Circuit City yesterday and GRABE'd me a copy (HA HA HA...GRABE) of the Star Wars DVD's. AWESEOME! But then I put it on and I felt like I was gonna fall asleep. I know...blasphemy, huh? I guess I've seen Star Wars: A New Hope too many times. I did put in ROTJ and just went to the end where they put Hayden Christensen at the end where the 3 jedi ghosts appear to Luke. Yup you heard me...they put Hayden the new Anakin in there in place of the old Anakin from the original movie. I just laughed.
GRABE GRABE. So too much grabe in this blog? Yeah, I need a new word. Someone teach me a tagalog word that sounds like an English word with a different meaning so I can abuse that word too. HA HA HA! Sooooooo............yeah, that's it...such is the life of Joe...

Bloooop!!!
I freaking woke up freaking early today! Freaking 6 am!!! STUIPD SANTA ANA WINDS!!! Since I was up I went to work early which means an early day for me. I really want this week to be over though. I'm really looking forward to going up north.
Poker again yesterday....I freaking sucked and wasn't playing my game. I called stupid hands that I knew I would lose, but i just wanted to see if I could play another way. That and I don't want people to learn how I play 2 weeks before the big tournament...even though everyone knows how I play.
So for the next copule months I'll be working at my old job at IMT, same building same company but just a different unit. They're really behind and need someone who knows what they're doing to fix it. It's a welcome change though because sitting at a freaking desk is not for me...especially when you don't know what you're doing...especially when there is nothing to do. The only thing is that I'm constantly on my feet..my feet freaking hurt...but I've lost like freaking 3 pounds so far!!! YAY! Maybe I won't have to take those Xenadrine pills after all!!!
I have learned to use my phone and "reach out and touch someone" and you know what? It's really nice to hear someones voice instead of the "blooooop!!!" sound on IM. I guess I'm kinda getting over my phobia of calling people for fear of intruding into their business and plans. It's a good thing though...I think I need to learn to open up more and that's what I've been doing. It's all been a learning experience and learning experiences are good. So gimmie a call if anything is going down or gimmie a call to chat...I have plenty of minutes to spare.
As I'm writing this I'm shuffling a stack of Quarters, I didn't know I could shuffle quarters! I should try doing nickels, then dimes...rambling, rambling, rambling...I guess I'm bored...that means I'm finished writing for today. Okay, back to work....such is the life of Joe...

Only in L.A.
First and foremost...HAPPY BIRTHDAY RIANN!!!. Well, technically belated birthday. Saturday was supposed to be good times and celebration with Riann at Orchid Karaoke Bar in K-Town. That didn't happen. There was some stupid hold-up at Sav-On and they closed the block off. Only in L.A.!!!! They weren't letting people into Orchid and they weren't letting people out of Orchid! SUCKED! Riann and a handful of people were stuck insdie Orchid drinking and singing while another handful of friends couldn't get in!!! So we headed to Cile's instead and a bunch of us just sat and talked and waited for them. It was cool chilling there at Cile's with all the friends there but I got tired and eventually called it a night. I hope you had a great time singing your heart out though Riann! I hope you really had a great time on your birthday!
It's crazy because this week has seriously hasn't felt like a week...it's felt soooo much longer. Last week seemed so long ago. So hopefully this next week will go by fast. I'm waiting for the weekend to go up to San Jose. Maybe I'll take Friday off....hmmm.....such is the life of Joe...

FINALLY THE WEEKEND IS HERE!!!
First and foremost. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHERWIN!!! Yeah, you're lucky you didn't freaking touch my chips tonight. I swear I'm gonna kick your ass if you ever do that again. HAPPY BIRTHDAY once again!!!! Let's drink 3 coronas!!! YEAHHHHHH!!!!
Poker poker poker. Once again I played poker today at Mike's. Dude, I don't wanna brag, but it's scary how consistent I am when I play poker. I'm usually in the final table, or in the top 5 (usually top 2 at Mike's)...and it's scary because I know nothing about the odds, percentages, strategies and other things. It's scary to think that I can actually be good if I learn that stuff....or maybe that'll mess me up.
So Hustler Casino on Friday? Hmmmm....maybe, since I did win some of my money back tonight. Hmmmmm...interesting. I'm curious but I'm sure I'll be freaking scared. But let's see if Sherwin is doing anything for his birthday first....
Finally the weekend is here!!! I just need to get past Friday and I'll be good. Honestly work sucks, it just sucks, please let me win the lotto, or hopefully there'll be a big earthquake (knock on wood) and the only thing that gets damaged is my company's electrical supply for a good month or so. Yeah, that's how much I'm hating work now. I told you guys I need a vacation, but I feel so guilty and I dont' wanna waste my vacation time. Who wants to go to the Carribean??? Flights and cruises are sooooooo cheap right now...I wonder why? HA HA HA! (it's called hurricane season). Ok, weekend is here. Time to get my body roll and my sing on! And......hat dance hat dance hat dance hat dance, fan dance fan dance fan dance fan dance, body roll body roll body roll body roll...yeah!!!!
P.S. - I'm over it...I'm truly happy now because I think I helped someone become stronger and realize they need to learn to take care OF themself BY themself, even though they keep on saying it for a while now, but never really realized it. I realized what my role was and I'm happy that it was me in that role. So I'm Happy, that this person is stronger because of it, and happy that I was a part of them becoming whole again. What's your sign?
This is freaking hillarious...well, at least I think so.
From Yahoo horoscopes for Sagittarius for today:

Quickie:
Superstition is not the answer. You need hard data, not mythological concepts.

Overview:
It's time to boldly go where you've never gone before without worrying for one second that you shouldn't. You'll be welcomed with open arms wherever you end up. That's a guarantee.

I could've used that 'quickie' info earlier this week and the 'overview'??? HA! how funny is that, maybe I should've waited until today?!?! HA HA HA! Freaking hillarious. That's why I don't believe in astrology. Such is the life of Joe...

What if....I didn't...
So people always say you should act on what you feel... in that way you won't have regret and won't ever think "what if...". No one ever tells you that maybe you shouldn't act on what you feel or else you'll regret your actions and you'll think "what if I didn't....". Sure it'll be the same as it was...but is that so bad???
I love it how when I don't act on something I think "what if..." and when I finally do act on something I think "what if I didn't....". But you know what...what should I expect? because....such is the life of Joe...

Coincidence?
So I'm up at 3 in the morning again...for the second night this week. On Sunday night/Monday morning I was up at 3am because of a dream but today (Tuesday night/Wednesday morning) I just woke up....I don't remember dreaming, I just woke up. Maybe it was just a coincidence...I don't know anymore. Such is the life of Joe...

Foker Flayers
Dude, a freaking amateur player won the $5 million once again at the WSOP! Can you believe that? I need to get that dude's glasses....ummmm...nah...not really. Ok, WSOP 2005 champ Mr. Joe Mama!!! Anyone wanna spot me the $10,000 entrance fee???
So yup, I'm back into playing poker once again. Last Monday was my first game in a while. I played with Mike at some strangers house (well, strangers to me) and I did pretty good...I mean, I still lost and was 6th out of 8, but I did go from "short stack" to "chip leader" and hung in for a while. Yeah, I did some stupid things...but now I know.
I then played at Mike's last night and there were more players than I thought. 10 players, 2 tables, and I got 4th place playing my conservative game. Pretty damn good...but I knew that someone from the other table was going to win because there were 5 rebuys in that table and so the survivors on that table had way more chips to start with than the survivors from the other table. All i know is that I hate being rivered. DAMMIT! Set of 3's on the river! Ok, ok, I had a weak hand with only a pair of 5's but I had an A kicker. But you know what? It's all good because I'm getting experience playing with different people and getting practice for the big tourney at the beginning of October. I just need to learn how to read people's styles.
And finally, maybe a trip to Hustler on Friday to play? I dunno...Chris and Jay have been down and itching to play there....I might go just to go and try it out. $100 should be good, right? Anyone else down? Ryan? Let me know and we'll see what happens.
Ok, that's it for now. Damn, it's only freaking Wednesday! DAMN! Come on weekend, hurry up!!! Such is the life of Joe...

Fun and Random Sunday
This was probably one of my funnest Sundays I've had in a long time. Well, considering that my usual Sunday routine is go to Church and then sit at home for the rest of the day. Today seemed like it was gonna be exactly that...just kicking it at home.
So what happens when I get bored? I go online and surf the internet. I saw that Urban Outfitters had these shoes that I wanted to get that I saw on Friday night at the Third Street Promenade Urban Outfitters and so I was bored and decided to go to the Urban at the Spectrum to buy them. I was just planning to go there, buy my shoes, maybe go to Barnes and Noble and read some magazines, and then just go home. I was planning on 1 hour at the most...that 1 hour turned into 4 hours. HA HA HA! Good times though...good times.
So I go to Urban, they didn't have my shoes at all. I then just decide to walk around, I went to Cohiba's and got a cigar and smoked it there talking to the worker there since I know him, since I stop by there every now and then. Ahhhhh...relaxing just sitting there and people watching and talking. Crazy seeing random people that I know...well, know of...walk by.
So as I'm smoking I get a call from Theda and she's on her way back up to Pasadena and I told her to meet me up at the Spectrum because she was right at the exit anyways and traffic sucked. YAY! Big Bro/Lil Sis day!!! Yeah, I know...I'm the worst Big Bro ever...I forgot to tell her that I was going out to Club AD yesterday (where we saw a Biglet, right Ryan? HA HA HA!) and she called me up while I was on my way there. But I hope I made steps to make it up today. We just hung out, walked around, ate, and had great conversation. Thanks for the great times Theda...I promise I'll hang out more often. Oh yeah...we also saw Nicole out there! WOW! I haven't seen that girl in forever.
So from one of the best days to going back to work tomorrow...BOOO!!!! Honestly, my head hasn't been in work for the past week. I can't even tell you what I did at all last week....hopefully this week will be better. Such is the life of Joe...

Provincial Joe
Can I please sleep in for once? I freaking woke up at 9 o'clock today...even though I went to sleep at 4am. I knew I was gonna wake up at 9am...I can't seem to sleep later than 9am at all, no matter how hard I try. BOO!!!
Gotham Hall last night...there was no one there at all. It was good times though, hung out with friends, practiced my body roll, got called provincial, and just hung out. Gotta remember to practice the routine to Aaliyah's "Rock The Boat". SGRET!!!
After Gotham we went to NORMS. I told them I'd never been there before...I lied, because when we got there I remembered being there after Cile's birthday. OOPS! Funny thing is that we didn't eat at NORMS, we went across the street to Denny's. I assumed everyone was gonna walk across the street...I wanted to move my car to be courteous to Chris so that he wouldn't have to walk back across the street when we left. Little did I know that Chris said he was gonna wait for me so he could ride with me across the street. HA HA HA! I left him in the parking lot of NORMS with his crutches! HA HA HA! Freaking joe had to drive him over, HA HA HA!!! I'm an ass!!! Sorry Chris, I honestly didn't hear you...I assumed you walked across. Stupid me. Well, hope you had fun...and remember MORNING IRON!!!! YEEEAHHH!!!!
I'm getting tired now...maybe I'll try to sleep now. Such is the life of Joe...

Grabe Sushi
I am so going to yack right now. I feel so freaking bad. Ohhhhhhhhhh...serious...someone please help me. I wanna yack...not because I'm drunk (which I kinda am) but because I ate so much freakng food. I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking full and a lil drunk. Went out to California Beach Restaurant in Newport Beach for Dean's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAN!!! WELCOME TO THE QUARTER CENTURY AND ABOVE CLUB! I hope you had a great birthday Dean. I had a lot of fun...even though I feel so freaking bad right now. I had way too much freaking sushi and so I feel like I'm going to throw up from all the sushi...please do not show me any sushi for the next month. I don't think I'm going to eat at all tomorrow...that how full I am. Add to that. the sake bomb and big ass asahi that i drank....yet I still drove home. I feel siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. HELP ME PLEASE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAN!!! Such is the life of Joe...

I Love 3 Day Weekend's
Oh how I love 3 day weekends...why? Because it means I get a day off from the monotony of work. Friday was just a lazy night for me watching my favorite Friday night show, "Joan of Arcadia"...not that I watch that show every Friday or something...b/c I'm always out partying, right?
Saturday was a random night up in Redondo Beach. Trying to get as many drinks in 30 minutes as possible before the 2 for 1 special ended, trying to get Drunk Iya to come out, and just taking a walk to the pier, good times with great company. I haven't been to Redondo Beach in maybe 7 years and so it was great going there again.
Sunday was BBQ at Ms. Riann's house. Good food, good hookah times, stupid Joe and his 7 on the river beating my "big slick", Body Roll lessons, Mah Jong Lessons, "HOVA HOVA HOVA!!!", me taking a mouthful of Patron and spitting it all back into the cup accompanied with the "BLECH" sound effect, and just kicking it with great friends. We added more dance steps to our dance routine...it goes HAT DANCE x 4 counts, FAN DANCE x 4 counts, then BODY ROLL x 4 counts until we switch places...and then do it all over again!!! I got to sleep over at Riann's house...just because I was a little tipsy and I knew that I didn't want to drive all the way back to Irvine that night. YAY! Sleepover! Too bad everyone was watching a stupid Brian Austin Green movie....so i just knocked out. GRABE!
Today was time to be lazy until Riann and I decided to go to a place that I've never been to in my life. The famous Hollywood Landmark "Mann's Chinese Theater". Check 1 thing off my list for things in LA that I haven't seen. Thanks Riann for a great day!!! You're the best! Keep Mico safe! HA!
TASKATE!!!!

Riddle me This, Riddle me That
Me and Danielle were so bored we were telling riddles to each other. We both knew them all, but it took us a while to remember their solutions:
- a person returns to their car and finds a dead body in it, the doors are locked, the windows are up, and he is the only person with the keys...how did the dead body get in the car? (i dunno if I told it right)
- a man lives on the 50th floor. on some days he takes the elevator to the 25th floor and walks the rest of the way up, on other days he goes all the way to the 50th floor....why?
- a man is going home but then sees a man in a mask and so he goes back the other way....why?
- a dead naked body is found in the middle of the desert with a piece of straw in his hand....explain
- there is a dead man in a blue suit next to a rock...explain.
- a lady was really tired and so turned off the light...the awoke the next morning to find she had killed hundreds of people...why? (this one stumped me)
- 2 people are found dead in a cabin in the woods...expalin
- jack and jill were found dead next to some broken glass...how did they die?
- a man is shot dead with 53 bicycles around him...explain.
- and here is one I just rememered....it's a hard one, at least I thought so. a man walks into a restaurant and sees on the menu is a ostrich. He orders it, takes a bite, screams and commits suicide...explain.
I don't know if i told them correctly but you get the main idea. Please don't post the answers...you can post questions...but not the answers....and you can post other riddles too, to try to stump me. Maybe I should make this a weekly thing? Nah...too much effort. Such is the life of Joe....
