Do the Thunderclap!
So I'm at home watching BET for some reason during lunch and there was this Beanie Man video on. They were doing all these dance moves in it...and most of them looked freaking stupid. I've noticed a lot of video's have been "teaching" dance moves like in that one Sean Paul video where they call out the names of the dance moves as they do it "row da boat...row da boat", and the Usher video, "sway away" freaking "thunderclap or something". I just thought to myself if this is just a practical joke that they are playing on us. Like they're probably saying to theselves...what's the STUPIDEST dance move I can make up and put in my video and see how many people in the clubs do it. HA HA HA! If I was a recording artist...that's what I would do. That would be awesome. Make up a stupid dance move and put it in your video just to see how many other people do it....awesome. They're trying to control us all!!! Ok, that was my random thought of the day. Happy Birthday Kelly Jean...you so YOUNG! Such is the life of Joe....

Quarter Life?
Yeah, getting back to work after a 4 day cruise freaking sucks. My first full day back on land on Tuesday welcomed me with a sore throat, heacache, coughing, and congestion....plus my equilibrium was still out of wack and I felt like I was still on the boat rocking back and forth.
So how was the cruise? The cruise was an awesome time. I was just happy that I didn't have to work on Friday or Monday. If we spent a night in Mexico then it would've been perfect. I was just happy spending time with friends and chilling not having to do anything because I didn't have to. If you want details go to Cile's Page or check out the pictures. I'll leave you with these two quotes:
- "Let's play ninja"
- "Dis is wine tasTING, not wine drinKING"
One thing though....we missed you Gail!!!
But now it's freaking back to work and all the problems in the real world that you thought you left behind.
It's funny how sometimes you think you're the only one who thinks or feels a certain way and then you find out you aren't the only one. It's great knowing that you aren't the only one...you can share your thoughts and everything. Ahhhhhhhhhhh....I feel so relieved. It feels so good to get some of these things off my chest. Ahhhhhhh....seriously...it's been bugging me for a while and just recently it's really starting to bother me. Yeah, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like this.
Ok...that's it for now. I was gonna talk about something but of course I forgot what it was. Such is the life of Joe...

Quick Post
So my theory was proven true last night. My theory that you can have 10 drinks in Vegas and just be a little drunk but never sleepy or lazy and you can easily have more. I only had 2 Johnny Walkers at Jenn's pre-BDay celebration at Lucky Strike at the Block and I was feeling just as drunk as I felt this past weekend with 10 drinks in me. It has the be the Oxygen Vegas pumps into their casino...or the continuous activity that you have in Vegas.....or the watered down drinks they give you.
Well, I'm off to Ensenada today! HOORAY! No work for me! I seriouly need this vacation because for some reason this week has been kicking my ass. Why is it that the day before I leave to go on vacation is my freaking busiest day ever??? It's like they wanna pile all this work on me before I leave. BITCHES!
Ok, there are some Pictures from Jenn's BDay @ Lucky Strike. Enjoy...as always password required...just email me or IM me...but then again...I'll be in Mexico...but it's always the same password.
Ok...gotta go now....H'WHAT! YEAH! OKAYYYY!!! Such is the life of Joe...

2 Dias Mas
So because of this weekend's Vegas trip I decided to watch "Chasing Amy" again. Man, it just reminded me of why it's one of my favorite movies ever. It's sooooooooooo freaking good. If you haven't watched it, you HAVE to. It's a movie for everyone...guys will love the comedy, girls will love the romance, it's just the perfect movie.
So today at work I was just singing this one random song in my head. It was "Someday I Suppose" by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Guess what was the first song I heard on the readio when I got in my car for lunch? (this part sounds like Berto wrote it for some reason, I dunno).
So my suspicions about Vegas giving you immunity to alcohol was confirmed last night. I went to Taco Tuesday at El Torrito with Theda, Kimmy, and Danielle and had one of those big ass beers...after I was finished...I was feeling it. Crazy, huh? After the first big ass shot at O'Shea's I was ready for more...but that was in Vegas. After the first beer here in boring Irvine I'm ready to stop. Maybe it's because I haven't drank beer in a long ass time.
Hooray! I just have to get past tomorrow and I'll be having the best weekend ever...or so I hope. First will be Jenn's bday where I'll get to see Josepheen again...man, I miss seeing Josepheen. But I'm sure that Josepheen is going to be on the cruise the whole weekend. One of my co-workers went to Ensenada/Rosarito last weekend...he said there were all these college girls running around. AWESOME!!! I can't wait! SPRING BREAK RULES! WOOOOOOO!!! Yeah, I'm so in need of this freaking vacation. It's about freaking time.
Hasta Lunes....cuando regreso de Ensenada. Such is the life of Joe...

I miss Vegas already
Vegas was an awesome trip as it always is. It's the first trip to Vegas for me this year, and definitely won't be the last. It was freaking tiring though. I think I only got 4 hours sleep in 2 days. The first night was just insanity because we took off from L.A. around 1am-ish or so...then arrived in L.V. around 5am-ish or so....we didn't get to check in until 11am-ish so we had to stay awake all that time. It was cool because I won $50 or so playing roulette and this hot drunk chick named Ryan told me she loved me and would reach over me to put chips on her numbers and brush her boobies on my arm. HA!
Great time so here's a little recap:
- basically stayed up a good 27 hours until we checked in while the girls slept in the van
- don't get into a conversation with a drunk Army guy talking about politics like Jay and Chris did
- winning $125 is awesome...until some jackass named Karl sits at your table with no intention of playing and just trying to get Cici to invest in whatever he was doing and starts insulting the dealer. Shut up already and play....freaking hit on a 14 when dealer is showing 5..he made everyone at that table lose, I even told him he was freaking stupid
- ate at Red Ginger for dinner with a waitress that was BAD......ass!
- Jevon, Jay, and I quote way too many movie's especially "Chasing Amy" and doing the hand motions with the quote "did you even know I've always wanted to be a dancer in Vegas".
- Jevon was a wussy and went to bed on Saturday night at midnight instead of going out with us
- Don't gamble with $400 when you're losing...but that's what being buzzed does to you
- Kamikaze's and lemon drops are cheap but freaking strong at O'Shea's
- lemons in lemon drops are meant to be used as chasers
- O'Shea's always hooks us up and always has cool dealers
- Ai likes making money by playing War in between hands of Blackjack
- Sapphire is a nice club, it's freaking huge, plus we made new friends there, thanks Rain
- you know what, after the club...I can't remember how we got home, it's a blur, I know we took a taxi but I just don't remember it
- song of the weekend: Maroon 5 - "This Love"
- Belggio's buffet line is always freaking long
- Do NOT stop to play with a statue of a kid kicking a soccer ball or else you'll miss a buffet by 1 minute
So here's some PICTURES. You can also see them on my "pictures" page. Nothing exciting at all....I need to start taking more pictures. If only we could take a camera to Sapphire.
As always, the best part of a JAC Crew Vegas trip is just hanging out and our famous conversations about nothing. I swear I need to buy an audio recorder so that I can record some of the conversations that we have while we're eating or one the trips to and from Vegas. We need an audio recorder or even a camcorder and just have it on the whole time we're eating or the whole time we're driving. But luckily Cici wrote some of the funnier things down so she can remember and blog about it later (GEEK! ) so check out her page for some of the funnier comments made. So we do get loud sometimes when we're eating, but it's all just laughing on the stupid stuff we talk about. So we were just laughing away and talking away and the people next to us kept on turning around and looking at us everytime we bust out in laughter. I guess they werne't happy that we were enjoying ourselves. And the person that kept on turning around was Filipino....yes, stupid Filipino's (her not us). Just because you aren't having fun doesn't mean no one else can. Biznatch!!! RAGGEDY!!!
So why is it that you can drink amazing amounts of alcohol in Las Vegas and just get buzzed or a little drunk when if you drink the same amount anywhere else you'd be passed out. Craziness. That's why I love me the Vegas.
Well, only a couple more days of work and then this weekend will be great! Thursday night for Jenn's bday, then cruise this weekend until Monday. You gotta love it.
And finally....THANKS CICI for the presents!!! They're great! Until the next JAC Vegas trip. Such is the life of Joe...

Happy Birthday Gail!!!
Ok, first of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAIL!!!. If you see her, make sure you wish her a happy birthday. We'll celebrate on the cruise! HOORAY!
I just watched Kanye West's new video for "All Falls Down" sounds like another hit from Mr. West. I just hope that it doesn't get as old as fast as "Slow Jams" got, but the video is really cool...especially since one of the airport workers looked so familiar....then i realized it was Common! I guess those Chicago rappers stay close together since he's also in that Kanye/Twista "Slow Jams" video...pretty cool
Ok, off to Vegas tonight. Hooray! I haven't been to Vegas since like August of last year. That's waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy too long. But I've noticed some good things about not going to Vegas as often as I used to. My savings account is actually growing instead of shrinking away! Hooray! But I sadly that's gonna change since I need to take some money out to play in Vegas. Hopefully, I can put back more than I took out...even if it is $1 more. That'd be awesome.
Well, wish me luck in Vegas. I'll need it since I haven't played in a long ass time. Once again, Happy Birthday Gail! Such is the life of Joe...

And the winner is...
So I just noticed that I have surpassed 5000 hits since July 6, 2003, that's basically 5000 hits in 7 months! WOW! Thanks for reading guys!!! I hope you all are entertained! So I'm gonna buy whoever is #5000 a couple drinks, but guess who lucky #5000 is? Well, it's Cile Tecson! Well, actually the IP Address is from Cile's house...so maybe that means it's Ja or someone else...but most likely it's Cile. So congrats Cile, claim your prize whenever, maybe during the cruise! But I get a choice of what I get to buy you...mainly Johnny Walker! HA HA HA! No....I'm just kidding...pick whatever. Such is the life of Joe...

Summer Nights, in wintertime?
I remember what I was gonna talk about. I was gonna tell you guys how lazy I am. I went to the post office in Irvine to buy some stamps so I could mail some bills which included the water bill. This is how lazy I am...I was thinking about just mailing the water bill, even though the drop box for the water bill was literally across the street. HA! I'm so freaking lazy! I was thinking of wasting $0.37 just so I wouldn't have to drive across the street. No, I'm not that lazy...I drove across the street, but I was seriously thinking about doing it. HA HA HA!
It's freaking hot today! I checked weater.com and it said it was 90 degrees in Irvine! What the heck! It made me so freaking lazy that I did absolutely nothing at all today but take 3 naps. Well, I studied a little bit for the test I have on Thursday...maybe that's what put me to sleep. I was thinking about swimming...but there were too many freaking kids playing around in the pool. Dammit. But hopefully this hot weather continues into Mexico during the 19th! Only 11 or so more days!!! HOORAY!
I can't wait until it starts to be consistently warm. Not too hot, except for the days I want to go to the beach and go swimming, but just warm enough so I can chill oustide in shorts at night with a cigar. Mmmm.... Just like tonight. It was a perfect night...it seems like one of those cool summer nights where you can just chill outside and be alone and enjoy the full moon, stars in the sky, and just relax. Ahhhhhh.... So here's to summer nights, had me a blast, summer nights happened so fast.....(yeah i know it's supposed to be summer loving, but I changed it, ok?) Such is the life of Joe...

Tulare? Where's that?
So I guess I'm not going to Tulare this weekend anymore. Why? Because I have to work on Saturday. Well, that's not it...I also realized that I have a test next week that I haven't started reading for and 2 projects that are coming up really soon. So I'll try to make this weekend productive. But I still wanna go to Tulare and just chill for a little bit. I've really been daydreaming about going outside on our back patio sitting in one of the yellow cushioned patio chairs that we have and just chilling in the cool night air smoking a cigar. Seriously...that's really all I wanna do...just go home and relax. I know I say Tulare is boring...but I think I need that right now for a little bit. Being bored...but being bored at home and exploring the town I grew up with but no longer know. Maybe I'll go home for easter...I dunno...we'll see.
Oh yeah...you wanna know more about Tulare? Here's Tulare's website. Pretty cool huh? And here's the website of my high school Tulare Union High School, pretty ghetto page, huh? But you know what was really shocking when I was reading the Tulare website...it said that 3 bedroom 2 bath houses sold for like $100,000-$120,000!!! Yeah the figures are from 5 years ago and that's probably old homes...so lets just say new houses probably can be bought for $180,000-$200,000!!! Compare that with the $500,000 here in Irvine! And the houses in Tulare are huge and come with a big yards, they're real houses...not like the 1800 sq. ft. houses with no yard here in Irvine. Maybe I should buy a house in Tulare and just pray that a big earthquake happens so Tulare suddenly becomes beachfront property. An earthquake that kills no one of course and leaves western California as an island that is.
Yeah, I was gonna write about something but I totally forgot what it was now. Oh well, it'll come to me sometime. Such is the life of Joe...

Is it the 19th yet?
I didn't do cardio today...you know why? Because a trainer said that I already do too much cardio. HA! I only do 30 minute cardio sessions 2 days a week and he says that's too much! HA! I think he thinks I wanna bulk up...which I do a little bit, but I wanna lose my fatness first. I think that means I just wanna get toned, but anyways...yeah, because he said I do too much cardio I went home without feeling guilty about not running today. For some reason there were so many new trainers there at the Spectrum. It was crowded with trainers yesterday too just coming up to you and talking to you out of the blue. What the heck? And these are new peopel that I've never seen before. Actually, KP works at the Spectrum Sport now...that's pretty cool.
So you know how safe Irvine is? It's so safe you can leave your apartment/house doors unlocked. And it's so safe that you can leave your car keys hanging in the door lock of your car for thirty minutes and it'll still be there! Yeah, so I went to go work out and somehow I left my car keys in my door and started to work out for half an hour before I realized I didn't have them with me. They were hanging on my car door. But the crazy thing is that I wasn't really worried if it was there or not. I knew it was gonna be there but at the same time I was thinking of what car I would buy if it wasn't there. I think that means I'd like a new car, huh?
Did you know that my Mexico trip is less than 3 weeks away! I freaking can't wait!!! I'm in need of a vacation sooooo badly because we're so freaking busy at work for the next..hmmmmmm...oh about, 4 months! I've been putting in like 10 hour days this week so far...and it only looks to get busier. Stupid job. Well, I was talking to my co-worker who is from Ensenada and he's telling me all these good places to go. He basically said to just go to First Street because that's where everything is...bars, restaurants, etc. He said to go to San Felipe...which is like 3 hours away in the interior of Baja...he said the water is sooooooo freaking warm and nice there. I dont' think we have time to do that but maybe next time. I'm gonna try to get all the hot spots from my co-worker, no worries. I can't wait until the cruise!!!
OK, the end for now. I'll talk to you guys later. Such is the life of Joe...

My Sassy Girl
This weekend was cool. I got to see some friends that I haven't seen in the longest time, bu guess what? Since they're my friends, I have free reign to be mean to them. Pretty sad, huh? I write my prvevious blog saying that I realize that I'm mean but yet I dont' do anything to change it. Anyways it was a grand time, mostly just chilling at home. It sucks when people cheat when playing "speed" but the easiest way to cheat is just putting down random cards just because the other person won't notice at all. Yeah, but that still didn't work for me. Good times with old friends.
So Rita brought this Korean DVD over called My Sassy Girl. It's pretty much a chick flick, but you know what? It's a really good movie, I highly recommend it. So go check it out.
So maybe I might go back to Tulare this weekend. I know that some people are running the marathon this weekend and I should go and support but I haven't been home in a while. So I dunno what's gonna happen. Honestly, I wanna go back to Tulare for more than just the weekend. Maybe for a week or two. I know that I shouldn't waste vacation time at Tulare because I'll end up doing nothing...but still...that's kinda the point. Just being back home and doing nothing...maybe rearranging my room, maybe checking out houses there which can be bought for the amount some people put down as down payments here in Irvine.
This is a real random blog. I have no idea what I just wrote about...but whatever. Such is the life of Joe...
