Ping!
So those of you with an iPhone and who have the Ping! app let me know or add me! If you know my email then you know my Ping! name. Add me up!

You know what football team I hate? The NINERS! Ok...yes, let me clarify...they're my FAVORITE team...but they frustrate me ohhh soo much. They kicked ass against the Cardinals on Monday night...BUT they got their asses kicked last Sunday to the Seahawks! WTF! If they would've beat the Seahawks, they would be in first at the NFC West!!! They're just so inconsistent. But it looks like they're slowly building up their team. They have a decent defense (Patrick Willis is AWESOME), a good running game...and now a good passing game (Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree). Come on Niners!!!

Kogi truck was in Irvine last night and Cat and I made our way to try it for the first time. The line wasn't bad at all...it was maybe 20 minutes and we got some of their short rib tacos and a black jack quesadilla. I was scared that the hype of the truck would overwhelm how they really tasted. But but they were sooooooooooo good!!! Mmmmmm!!!! My mouth is watering right now thinking of it. I actually think that the black jack quesadilla would be my favorite, but everything we had was DELICIOUS! So thumbs up to Kogi! It's gonna be in Irvine again tonight!!!!

So I just got a HP Mediashare ex490 home server and I've been playing it for a week basically backing up my data to it..and I LOVE IT! I can't wait to get a couple more hard drives to back up my back ups and store even more data in it.

Dont' you love it when you get unexpected surprises. Yesterday morning, Cat and I went out the front door just to check on something in the front of the house. As we opened the door we saw a package from our wedding photographer. We looked at the package and then look at each other and just started jumping for joy and laughing. HA HA HA! That package was sitting out in front of our house all night! YAY! We got our wedding proofs!!! I LOVE IT!!! So we spent a little time looking over them (which made me late for work, but I didn't care). Soooo awesome. Later that night we just took a look at the pictures and it just brought back memories. Ahhhhh...we love it.

Ok...that's it for now. Such is the life of Joe...

Sync
I know this is late too, but Thanks to everyone who texted/called/wished me a happy birthday last week. Man! Finally I'm 21!!! YAHOO???? HA!

So Cat got me a new iPhone 3GS!!! YAHOO!!! It was soooo funny because at work I was getting all these texts and stuff saying "Happy Birthday" and when I went to check my phone one time, I accidentally dropped it on the floor. OOPS! It was still working fine no problems...until like a couple hours later when I had "no service". I wanted to call/text Cat that our photographer put up some "teaser" wedding pictures on his blog (what an awesome birthday surprise!), but I couldn't because I had "no service". I thought that I had broke my iPhone!!! AHHHHH!!! So I get home hoping that it was just at work that I had "no service" but nope...I didn't get any service from work to home and I thought there was something wrong with my phone. So I get home and I'm telling Cat that my phone is broken and I turn around and there she is just smiling her big smile holding a new iPhone 3GS box with a big red bow on it...then I instantly knew what had happened. She had switched service from my old iPhone to my new iPhone!!! HA HA HA! She's sooooo sneaky! I love it!

So yeah...I LOVE my new iPhone...it's SOOOOOOO much faster than my old one. And with my new iPhone I'm trying to arrange all my stuff better. I've synced my iPhone contacts with my google contacts and synced my iPhone calendar with my google calendar. So what's cool is that if I update my contacts on my phone it automatically updates my contacts on google and vice versa....and it does the same thing with my calendar! Sooooo much easier and nicer than before. Before, when one of my friends updated their phone number or address, I'd update their info on my gmail, but would forget to update it on my phone...and so my phone would have the old info and I would text their old number. Now it's just automatic! I love it! I love to be in sync!!! Bye Bye Bye! (get it? in sync....'N Sync)....BLAH!

Oh yeah...and I can't wait until Saturday when my new HP Mediasmart ex490 gets here! It's going to be our home server and NAS and backup device! YAHOO!!! I love tech stuff!!! Such is the life of Joe...

Lagging
I know this is a week or two late but this will be my Thanksgiving update!

So this Thanksgiving we decided to spend it up North with Cat's familia. We flew out on Tuesday night after work and when we got to SFO it was dead...there were no cars there at all...it was perfect. I'm sure if we would've flown in on Wednesday night it would've been a MADHOUSE!

Thanksgiving was fun...we did so much driving (well, traveling...since we really didn't do the driving in most cases). Tuesday night was spent in Union City, Wendesday we drove to Tracy where we were having THanksgiving (we just wanted to beat the traffic). Thanksgiving was good...lots of eating, watching crappy football games, and just hanging out with the familia. Thursday night we drove to Livermore to celebrate Thanksgiving part two with some of Cat's cousins. Then James and Ana picked us up and we spent the night at their place in Dublin. So in 3 days we went to 4 different cities. CRAZY!

We got back to Orange County on Saturday and got to watch "Spring Awakening" at OCPAC (THANKS JOES AND KAREN!!!) with Boj and Sol. Sooooo good. I remember watching the Tony's on TV back in 2007 (I don't know why I was watching the TOny's...I just was) and saw performances of "Spring Awakening" and immediately wanted to watch it because the music wasn't traditional "musical music" it had a rock tinge to it. Sooooo good. I got to see boobies too! YES!

On Monday I took a half day and Cat and I headed up to Universal because we got tickets to watch "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien"!!! His guest were William Shatner, a girl from 90210, and the cast of Mary Poppins. William Shatner was crazy and we thought he was drunk. Annalyn McCord was just ditsy and the Cast of Mary Poppins was pretty entertaining. Good times!!!

Yup, that's my THanksgiving wrap up a couple weeks late. Sorry...I'll try to catch you guys up on more recent events soon enough. Such is the life of Joe...

Team Jacob!
So let me be the first to say that I'm the one that got everyone into playing Words with Friends (Free) on their iPhone...at least w/ our group of friends. I was told about the game from a co-worker and immediately knew that Cat would LOVE the game (she LOVES scrabble) so I told her about it and she Tweeted about it and also told everyone else. So yeah...it was me that got everyone addicted to it. Ok maybe it was Cat. But if you have an iPhone and LOVE scrabble and word games then you need to play Words with Friends (Free). You can add me...my user name is joseph______ (where the blank is my last name).

So I love watching how much fun my wife has when she has people over and hosting a party. I think party planning is what she LOVES to do. This Friday she had the girls over for dinner before going to watch "New Moon". She cooked a DELICIOUS dinner and just entertained the girls with wine, episodes of "Glee" and "Modern Family" and I could tell that it's something she Loves to do...and something that she is great at. It just made me smile seeing how happy she was while I was relegated to the upstairs bedroom for fear of all the estrogen downstairs.

While the girls went off to watch "New Moon" I watched "GI Joe The Rise of Cobra", which Joesan let me borrow. When I first heard about them making a GI Joe movie I was really excited...then I saw the trailers and I hated what I saw...but I tried to watch the movie with an open mind and just trying to enjoy it as an entertaining movie. WIth that in mind...this movie was TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! I almost stopped watching it in the middle. I just couldn't get through the bad acting, writing, special effects, and unnecessary comedy in it. BLAH!

So I'm sitting here at work just hating every time I have to stand up from my desk. Why? Because I AM SO SORE!!! Yesterday was the 4th annual Belle Bowl and it was the best one yet. It was also the most competetive one yet. The first one we were all just messing around most of the plays were "run out and get open and I'll throw you the ball". This year it was more like "you run a slant and you two run post routes and try to draw the safetys with you while you run a sluggo and I'll throw it deep to you but if it's not there I need someone to go 5 and out"...WoW! And people were yelling and getting angry...I found it hillarious and I had an awesome time. We have to do this more than just once a year.

Ok, that's my weekend wrap up. Hope you all have a great short week and have a safe trip to wherever your Thanksgiving Travels take you. Me, I'm going up North to Tracy. Such is the life of Joe...

RAD!
So guess what comes out this weekend?!?!? NEW MOON!!! Guess what I'll be doing on Friday!?!?! Sitting at home and watching.....RAD!!!. Yup, that's right...your favorite 80's movie about BMX!!! Cat and her girls are going off to watch New Moon and I'll have the house to myself to watch RAD! YAHOO!!! If you don't know what "Rad" check out the Rad Wiki. I watched a little bit of it and I totally forgot that Lori Loughlin (from Full House) was in it! HA HA HA! Now I just gotta find someplace where I can get "Gleaming The Cube".

Stupid DC Universe Classics toys have got me a little hooked now. Yes, I'm a Marvel guy and I don't really read but a handful of DC books, but since Marvel Legends (the Marvel toys) aren't really in production anymore, I kinda need something to fill the void and its the DC Universe Classics toys. I'm not collecting ALL of them, I'm cherry picking so I only get the ones that I like.

So has anyone watched the "Super Hero Squad"?!?!? How hilarious is that show!!! Really, you NEED to watch it. It'll appeal to everyone, not just comic book geeks. Yes, it's like Teen Titans cartoon...but it also reminds me of Muppet Babies for some reason.

Ok, that's it for now. Gotta try and get in at least one workout before Belle Bowl this weekend (HAPPY BIRTHDAY BELLE!!!). Man, I'm going to be sore on Monday. Such is the life of Joe...

Super Hero Squad
So I have a new favorite Cartoon. It's called Super Hero Squad on Cartoon Network! HA HA HA! Soooooo hilarious!!! If you guys remember the "Teen Titans" cartoon a few years back, then you'll get the gist of "Super Hero Squad". It's basically a kiddified tounge in cheek version of Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains. So funny! But yes, I highly recommend watching it.

So I LOVE my new laptop. One reason is because of the HDMI out that it has so I can connect it to our TV and basically use our TV as the monitor. So yesterday we watched a couple episodes of the "Conan O'Brien" show on our big TV streaming content from my laptop from Hulu! So awesome! I now need to catch up on "Fringe".

Speaking of "Conan O'Brien", Cat and I got tickets to go see the Tonight Show on the Monday after Thanksgiving!!! YAHOO!!! We just hope that the guests he has that day will be awesome AND that we get great seats too!

And cup stacking! I love cup stacking! You think that they're doing it in fast forward...but that's really how fast they're going! It's crazy!!!

Ok, the end. See! I'm actually updating this thing! This is for all you people bored at work and/or school. Such is the life of Joe...

Accomplice
So for on Saturday was my wife's birthday and so we headed up to Hollywood to do the Accomplice Hollywood show/scavanger hunt/tour fun thing around Hollywood. Soooooooo much fun!!! I don't want to give away too much, but basically you are wandering around Hollywood trying to find different people at different places that will lead you to the next person. So much fun!!! So thanks to everyone who came out. I hope you all had as great a time as we did!

Yeah walking around Hollywood kinda brought back memories of going out...but even more so, it made me realize that I didn't really go out that much in college. Seeing bar after bar after club just starting to put up their velvet ropes for the nights I'd be mentally asking myself...what is that place? And other people, would say Cinespace! Ivar! etc. as if answering my unspoken question.

Firelight....HA HA HA! Hillarious! Taylor Swift was pretty good on SNL. She sucked in that one skit where she was supposed to be that prisoner in the scared straight skit...but everything else, she's pretty funny. I think she looks a lot better as a brunette too. Too bad she can't sing at all. Ehhhhhhhh....

So anyone know how to connect a Hard Drive to an airport extreme base station so that you can see it on both a Mac and a PC? I've done it and I sometimes can see it on the Mac but I've never been able to see it on the PC. I'm thinking of returning it and just picking up a NAS like the HP MediaSmart EX.

Ok....that is all for now. Let's go Niners!!! Come back from that AWFUL loss to the Titans and kick some Bears ass tomorrow!!! Such is the life of Joe...
